Archaeology EXP?

Hi.
I know there are plenty of topics about Archaeology but I have not found anything about the experience gains of doing Archaeology at lower levels.

Anyone has a clue how much experience I would get by doing Archaeology at level 70?
Plus, when do I get experience? For solving, or for surveying -- or even both?

You get xp when you find a node. The xp scales with your level.

My 70 toon with 300 arch gets 210-220k xp/hr with fast flying. Still good I think, since you make gold, you get the most boring skill up and you level aswell

I'm lvl 79 with 450 arch and I'm getting around 220k xp/hr tops...and thats if I'm lucky. Most things I've read say 79 should be getting in excess of 300xp/hr...is that right? Thanks.
