6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 16 (but have some disconnects, so maybe 13..14hours.)

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 100, 200, 300... depends..

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? NO

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No

10)EU or US realm? EU

Here is my story. Sunday i lost 22 accounts on the same computer. Used the profile in GB2 with vash and Uldum.

've Had since the expansion and never had problems, it was normal to lose .. 3, 4 once in a while, but losing all the accounts that were on the same computer has never happened to me.
I think the blizzard detect the bot. Yesterday after the lock and banned accounts, I decided to start 6 new accounts. They were one day to run, and not more than 12h were linked. Using the profile of the Kicks for both horde and alliance for.
All six were locks, and banned. Do not understand how Blizzard could ban me so fast. I do not know what is going on, so it only makes me think that the bot is being detected, so beware. When the accounts locked back, honestly do not know what to do ..

it sounds like you got reported on at least one and then had an investigation done on your accounts and all got closed at once

I have bot a long time, and never had anything like it. only happened when the bot was detected. reports and have always had but never did in all accounts.

I've never seen them use that phrase for botting before. Last time I seen that was when I lost an account in TBC due to item duping.

1: they get a report.
2: they investigate, the IP adress/mac adress might haev been banned before
3: they check all the accounts on that ip/mac adress
4: they figure out you bot=you get banned on all not really that hard to figure
5: im still running my 4 without a problem.
6: posting 100-300 auctions a day will kinda raise the chance of you getting banned.

As far as I can tell, the % of HB users getting banned is still tiny. If it was detected, the % banned would be likely 100%.

Ok.. but why loose 6 accounts today? just 6 HB... only been online 12 hours, and loose that too..

They did not ban everyone because they will not. they ban those who have more bots. If we knew that the bot was detectable were going to seek the solution, and they do not want it ..

Well lets see they banned all your accounts the last few days... they are probarbly smart enough to go like "he will prolly start some up again if he had 26 acc running" and they don't care how many bots you got, they ban you if they ban you

Sunday: With GB2: 22 Farmers -- 14 Locked, 8 Banned. I do not know if the reconnect again. until you have answers.

Today: With HB: 7 Leveling Grind -- 1 Banned, 5 Locked, 1 Safe..

Ok, first I think what you are saying here is not the truth...
You have 20 bots (~200 € monthly costs) running for 16 hours a day, have 300 and more auctions per day and doing that for a long time, but your accounts are not involved in gold trading? ALL RIGHT!
You are not using any other hacks, so how did you get your 6 fresh accounts to Uldum?

Moreover I guess you are still using the same computer (Hardware ID, hello) and probably even the same IP... If I would catch you with that PC + maybe even your IP and see you are logged in again with 6 Bots, I would suspend you also, even if I don't have a 100 % proof (thats maybe also why 5 are locked and just one banned...)

Kick is right. It's not detected, you were detected. Too many accounts coming from one IP or IP range, or too many player reports, or a GM just happened to be in the right place at the right time and you got hammered on one of those when they investigated - they don't always investigate, but you were. It's happened quite a bit lately...big time botters are getting banned.

You had 22+ accounts and then say you didn't sell gold...come on...are you serious? I have 8, and hell yes I sell gold...I've made some 16,000,000 gold in the last two years, lost 8 accounts for bans total, 2 more were recalled on me...and when I got 6 accounts banned last month I didn't even post a ban report,, I just went and bought 5 more accounts because well, it pays for itself and pays me to upkeep the bots. It's like I got 8 little friends doing the Amazon Mechanical Turk on my PC at all times, scraping up WoW gold instead of 20 cents here and there.

When the 22 were locked, you were put in for investigation. Then you started 6 more and they got to you in the investigate queue....well, they saw all 28 accounts on the same IP/MAC address and decided you were a gold seller. It won't hurt to fight it, but I doubt after an investigation you will get them back.

look you got caught, its as simple as that, they investigated, and shutdown the entire operation. as far as the "Intended Exploitation", well you did, you intentionally exploited the economy to sell gold and run your bots. im going to lock this post, because not only are you instilling a bunch of fear into people who don't know better, by leaving this thread open it only propagates it further.

your not the first person to have his gold farming operation taken out, blizzard has gotten exceedingly effient at it.
