So after maintenance on Tuesday my main 2 accounts were banned, stupidly enough they were the only accounts in the guild which had all my stuff in the guild bank. So i lost 100's of thousands gold. I sent in 2 appeals that were said to have worked already on these forums. Both accounts were unlocked today (Yay) But also.. I sold aroundd 8 Darkmoon decks plus a bunch of other things bars/ores on monday and sold the gold i received from them. When I logged on just now all the decks etc were restored and mailed to my account :O. So i doubled some gold thanks to getting banned WOOT thanks blizz xD.

EDIT. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. Not only was all the items restored, the gold I sold was also restored to my account.. So I went from having 90k on monday.. to now having 90k, 90k worth of items and 72 dollars in my paypal. FUCK yeah!

That's really weird, congratulations nonetheless. I thought Blizzard only reimburses items and possessions that were lost via hacking. Although, I have only been playing this game for a few months so I don't really know.

Im not sure what method he used to get his accounts unlocked but if he is using a proxy to bot his wow accounts he could use the "my account got hax0red by the china gold farmers halp me plx" type of appeal

Saying your account got hacked will NOT get it back, you are responsible for activity on your account and I have had the ULA quoted to me many times.

Saying it got hacked without there being some "evidence" of your account being accessed from somewhere else wont get it back. Ive gotten my account back from being hacked multiple times and I've never had the EULA quoted to me. Guess the GM's dont like you.
 
I don't use a proxy while botting, the only thing that comes close to that is having two separate computers and a dynamic IP. But yeah I didn't say my accounts were hacked.. though somewhere in my appeal I mentioned "I have had this account for 5+ years now.. i have had it hacked before and i got it back.. now this?" Something along those lines.. oh and i said "maybe i should just quit Wow all together and stop paying you guys to sit around banning people for no reason"

Are you guys playing US? It would depend on the demand on your server... but i have been getting .82 for almost all my servers. I am not going to tell you exactly who. But what I did is just google "Buy gold" or "Sell gold" Looked at the big websites, found the Sell to us , or contact us sections. Then i just talked to them on msn to see if they bought gold, how much they quote. It is good to have a few in your list. If I am ready to sell gold I will get them all to quote how much , Sometimes one will be more then the others, next week it will be the other one with a higher offer etc.
 
But then again botting isn?t really work, all you have to do is spend 30 mins - 1 hour on posting stuff on AH.. The rest of the time you let the bot(s) farm.. And it?s a great way to make some extra cash when ur unemployed

This. I've seen my own char bot once after it got hacked. When I got the acc back I also got the gold they sold and the mines/herbs restored.

^this, i mean the average american is under employed right now, i understand this, but still 42$ an hour, i think you should think before you post... because this is no normal job.
 
It would take me 4 hours to clear $72 after taxes, 401k and insurance. My wife on the otherhand would have to work 12 hours...maybe more.

I definately feel underemployed, a project we are working on will cost ~$10 million per installation over the 1-3 year life of the software product (depends on the facility), and the boss told me last week there will be no bonuses this year and I only got a 2% pay increase. Well below cost of living expenses...it costs $80 to fill my tank! Oh, and our health/dental/vision went to shit companies instead of Anthem, which was at least fair coverage...

Need to just start writing software tools to sell to development houses...cause this writing code for a douchebag isn't paying the bills.

Back on topic: Grats on getting your account back! I was waiting to send in a letter on my 5 banned accounts...other than the ~20 85's on them, I did manage to keep the guild bank access on the 3 that were not banned.
 
Just move to Australia, go work in the mines and earn 120,00(130,00 US) + per year. (Thats 2 weeks on, 1 week off) :P.

I know a mate who sits on his ass all day except everyone 40 minutes he changes a drill bit. and he is getting just over 2 grand a week.

Anyway, like the others said. Selling gold is just some extra cash with VERY little effort.

Yes, typical AUS$1200-$1500 a week rent (ofcourse you can share to lower the cost), 6 x price for all food and drink etc. as to what you pay in normal towns. Sounds a lot, isn't really. Most I know who have been there, last a year, come back broke and being on the verge of alcoholism :(
