ok just saw all that legal issues and what not, i recently bought a lifetime session and the whole key situation has confused me, would anyone mind telling me how this is going to pan out, does that mean i no longer has a lifetime pass? appreciate it in advance

You will still have the lifetime key, they are simply no longer selling them, either to help with the legal situation, or to avoid having people buy a 'lifetime' key only to have HonorBuddy shut down a week later. (I sincerely hope that this is not the case...)

I think it is more the latter of that, but they still offer like 365 day keys, so I am thinking that it is more of a ease of use for the devs and the consumers. If you have seen the payment forums it is a nightmare.
