I botted for about 20 days using two chars, stockpiling for 4.2,

Made all hardened elementium bars and no one even wants to buy stacks at 75% off the AH prices, it was a complete waste of time and I feel down about it when I see what I have in comparison to the success stories of other people

Hardened Elementium Bars are used in recipies for BS 378 items and a few sites suggested that

Give it time, people are only just really getting the patterns and hardly anyone has any embers, yet alone enough to make the new gear.. I had loads piled up too but they are slowly selling and yesterday I sold quite a few.

Keep putting them on the AH, just a few at a time and make them in stacks of 2 or something like that and they'll start selling soon enough.

Should have researched further. The 378's are hitting a choke point in the form of Living Embers. We knew this was going to be the case heading into the patch from the PTR and patch notes.

The epic profession recipes, most notably the BS ones, are still a few weeks away from being unlocked. I've been picking up cheap mats off people who thought the stockpiling strategy was over the day the patch hit. It was not.

Hold your mats. Hold whatever pyrite you come across. Give it a few more weeks.
