BuddyStarter - Launch WoW and Honorbuddy with 1 Application Automaticly
Version 1
buddystarter.webp
What is it?
BuddyStarter is a tool that Starts WoW and will Log you into the Game, then Start Honorbuddy and Start Honorbuddy. after the information is filled out this can be done automaticly be saving the settings. these settings will autoload, and if "Auto Start On Launch" is enabled, then it will start the process of Loading up wow and honorbuddy from you, with No Input.

How do i use it?
just run the Executable, and fill out the required information, then click start, if WoW Logs in successfully then Honorbuddy is Started Successfully, then you can click Save to save all the filled in information, and if you wish click Auto Start on Launch, so when the executable is run, it automaticly starts the process of getting those applications started. once the applications are launched then your free to close BuddyStarter.

Currently BuddyStarter can only log into the toon that comes up by default when you log into wow, and only starts honorbuddy and does not change current profile or bot mode (Questing, Grinding, PVP, Ect.)

How Does it work?
First it starts WoW
waits for the login screen,
types your username and password you provided
Presses Enter
Waits
Presses Enter Again
Waits some time to get in game
Starts Honorbuddy
Clicks Login
Waits for HB to Load,
Clicks Start
Then if checked
It waits for the CC Selection Prompt
Selects the first CC on the List
Clicks Select
and Done,

At this point Both WoW and Honorbuddy should be running and your toon should be off doing whatever he is suppose to be doing.

Whats Needed?
i need someone who knows AutoIt, so if you do and your Really good let me know.
timer adjustments, since the "Waits" are predetermined on Slower Systems this could cause issues, most likely with the WoW Login, if this happends, Sorry, but theres nothing i can do about that right now.

Possible Uses!
Remember when i said it can Start Automaticly? well windows has a task scheduler. wouldn't it be cool if you could use it that way?

I have tested this before it was released, and this is some good stuff.

oh man I like this alot thanks for this G.

I tried it out realfast, it starts WoW logs in and everything. When it starts HB it crashes, not HB or WoW but HB-relogger.

download buddystarter2 and give it a shot and tell me if that does it for you.

if you have the knowledge why don't you ask for permision to update the other reloger? isn't it easier rather than starting a new one?

Yeah same here...as soon as Hb pops up the Botstarter just crashes.

Using win7 x64

I fucking love you!!!!
<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
i want to make fucking babies with you
idk if homo!!!

Awh i cant start all my bots at once with this
Sadface. But better than nothing

I'm not a pro but i have been using autoit for a couple years now. i would love to take a look at it if you want.

Great contribution, as always. Been looking forward for a replacement for the previous working relogger and this is even better, because task scheduler can add random delays to tasks, making botting less "programmed".

But... It doesn't work for me. Two main problems:

1. Botstarter crashes when WoW opens.
2. Botstarter 2 doesn't crash, but doesn't enter correctly user/password (I've got three BNet accounts, maybe the BNet selector is the problem)
3. I can save the settings in Botstarter 2 and schedule it as a task in Task Scheduler. But then, when Task Manager starts it, the settings are gone! Is there any way to open the .exe with some arguments, for instance?

Anyways, I think this launcher is one of the most promising and interesting pieces of software of the last six months, like Instancebuddy or Archaeologybuddy was. The ability to schedule semi-randomly our logins can help us botters to imitate average human behavior, thus lowering our risk to be banned. Good job mate!

Edit: I forgot to put my specs---> Win7 Home Premium x64 over BootCamp / Intel Core 2 Duo / 4Gb RAM

Sorry mate, same thing with that one :/
what OS are you running and things like that, also if you could screen shot it for me, since it seems like your ether the only one whos actuily run it, or the only one who is actually having issues. so any information you provide could be great.

is it possible to take screen shots of the B.Net login process, and ill do my best to add an option for it, like i said in the first posts its quite literally typing username and pass and pressing enter twice, if theres more to it then that for a BattleNet with multiple accounts ill give it a shot.

I've managed to isolate some things. Here it goes:

1. It's opening HB what makes Botstarter2 crash. I've tried with checking only the "Start Honorbuddy" option and always crashes.

2. Regarding multiple BNet accounts, I've managed to come up with some sort of trick... Leave the password blank in BotStarter2 and write the password in the Username section instead. If your WoW client has the "Remember account" option checked, then it'll login without any problem.

So, HB launching it's the main focus, I suppose. Thanks again, very good initiative (^_^ ')
