[H] Elementium Shuffle

Hey Guys,

First off I would like to give credit to JustinT who created the original profile. It was originally a milling profile.

As this is the first profile I've ever created, I decided to start by hacking away at his until it did what I wanted it to do, this is what I finished with.

What it does?
This profile will get all mail from the inbox and proceed to prospect elementium and obsidium, vendoring the blue/yellow/green rare gems and blue uncommons. It will then mail the rest of the gems to the alt allocated in bot settings. This will continue this loop until all mail is gone.

Instructions;

1. Choose questing mode and load the "emptyquest" profile with normal honorbuddy.
2. Choose the toon in which you would like the materials mailed to after prospected under "bot settings"
3. Start Profession Buddy and load the profile for prospecting
4. Put your toon near an accessible mailbox and vendor and run the profile.

I don't really know much about programming and this was just intended for my personal use. If you have any suggestions / help to improve the profile let me know.

this profile all the time stops after 1 attemp of gathering ore from mail, so I decided to modify it.

Attached profile will sell all green gems to vendor and will not stop after 1 cycle of actions

Thanks allot for the profile I edited so it would mill and make inks aswell, and guild bank deposits instead of mailing, so I can go afk for an hour after a night's gathering and come back to all my work done for me, thanks allot

Yes it is definately worth it on my server. I take the gems from the shuffle and make enchanting mats / rubies which then are cut and sold. This doubles my profit from obsidium/elementium which i farm and i make a nice profit if bought from the ah at the right price.

Hi there, I'm glad you posted this! I was having some trouble where sometimes the bot would stop after one cycle and other times it would continue. I had a look at your code and i can see where you have improved this.

I found mistakes in my profile. Right now I will post updated profile, using it I made 60k+ without any problem nonstop )

I'm curious as to why this is marked as a Horde profile? I don't see anything in it that makes me think it is. Unless I'm missing something obvious.

Originally i had a specific vendor in this profile which made it horde only. I then decided to make it generic. So i guess the short answer is, you can use this anywhere with a mailbox and vendor now .

I buy mine for 25g per stack, along with what i farm.

Just My Two Copper - Wow Cataclysm Gold Guide Blog had said in a podcast they did that the break even price is now at 27.5g on any server... Not sure if this is concrete or not, you'll have to check yourself.

I think these numbers are grossly overestimated or overinflated on your particular server. I'm not sure if you mean you sell the green rings/blue rings? The material that you would get from greens would be Celestial essences or Hypnotic dust. These on my server go for 10g and 3g each. Even with the guild perk for disenchanting (bountiful bags) I would net between 4-5 dust if lucky(12-15g). This would also mean i would need to craft rings, send them to my enchanter, de them and then sell the mats to people that would buy them on the ah.

The beauty of vendoring items is that i need to find no buyers for an extra 5g profit, the vendor takes everything i throw at him. This means i can prospect 300 stacks a day and churn profit without ever needing to find buyers. I still keep the red rares and carnelians and turn these into infernos for stockpiling / cutting and selling.

Hope this is a bit of insight into my methodology.

First of all; not on all servers. Second: "reliably" will change once you have hundreds of them.

Elementium goes for less then 25g a stack on my server. I regularly set my toon to buy out everything under 25g, prospect, sell. He can do that for hours! Some days I get 10k+ just from shuffling. There is no market for so many rings, necks of enchanting mats.

That's just for *cut* gems (from 9g to 75s). Uncut gems still sell for 5g each. Uncut blue quality gems went from 3g to 5g so are actually even more profitable..

Because some of us have 9+ accounts that we bot on and you get to a point where you kind of get burnt out shuffling everyday just to make a bit more profit. I can hit one button to sell all my gems for 5g each and same me alot of time and get back to farming. You have to put time into your equation when you are discussing profit. If i tried to squeeze every bit of copper out of my botted materials i would die from insanity.
