"Merchant Doesn't want that item" continuous loop

What Basically happens?

My bags full, goes to the vendor then it just says "Merchant Doesn't want that item" Over and over and over and over again... forever. I'm using kicks profile 1-60? I can't buy big back space, as i started this char on a fresh realm, meaning no money to buy big bags. How can I successfully get it to sell the stuff?

You don't need the whole log because its too big... Even if i compress it lol...

what items are in your bag
does it work if you empty your bag manually
 
Yes I can sell my bags manually, and just the general stuff, linen cloth, grey armour, stringy wolf meat, and lets say a quest item or 2?
 
well do a process of elemination to find out what in your bag has no sell price on it and if you can remove it and try starting the bot again.
 
I don't want to remove my quest items, neither my hearthstone. And I'm not always going to be there removing the stuff for it.

Check your "protected item" list. Sounds like there might be an item too much on it, if you dont want the items anyway :)


EDIT: Right click on profile -> Open with... -> Select Notepad -> Find the Protected item list and kill it :)

I looked through the whole profile twice could not find any protected item list?
 
Any Ideas? This is a very common problem with a lot of profiles. And i'd like if this thread solved the problem once and for all.
 
Protected item list is location within the HB folder.

I got around the same problem by simply deleting it and also the mail file, could you tell us what version of HB your running aswel?

Also i notice you posted 3 times once every hour, if you want help you need to be patient we don't sit around on the forums all day..
 
Mine 10 stacks of copper ore, sell them on the AH, and buy bigger bags :)

I'm running the latest one. :) And sorry about the posting, I was just in need of a reply and I only posted twice :S and the second one, was just because I wanted a straight forward answer :)
 
The quickest option I can think of (other than just getting bigger bags) is to download the lootfilter add on and have it auto destroy the stuff you don't want.

How is that going to help? Their problem, as I understand it, is that they have limited bag space and when they get full and go to visit a vendor to sell off, the bags won't empty as they are full of soulbound, quest, or "vendor doesn't want this item" items, which results in them sitting there with full bags. Turning off auto find vendors may stop that error but it will still leave them with full bags, unable to loot, including any quest items they may need for the profile.
 
oh! i didn't read the whole thread :p

they need to change their PI / Forcemail .xml files to mail or sell more crap... and get bigger bags :p

fyi Loot filter is not working since the new patch.
