Botting 24/7

Ive been wanting to just let the bot go 24/7 and I think Ive got it worked out. I read in a previous thread that the combination of several actions (or lack of) contributes to instabans from the server. Well heres my solution.

I'm in a guild with a few RL friends and I talk to them a good bit. I also use the AH and train every two levels. I get on and do a quest every now and then, and I always do the mixed bg/leveling. It may not be TRULY 24/7, but it's close. I really just want to go faster than I am now.

So, referring to another thread where they said..

No Quests? Fine
No PVP? Fine
No AH? Fine
No Contact with Others? Fine

All of the above? RED FLAG

I take care of all of those, albiet in small amounts. So what do you guys think, given the information? Think I could leave it for 24 to 48 hours at a time? Let me know.

I understand theres always a risk for bannage so don't take that into consideration when replying.

In this specific case I let two of my friends bot my account for 24/7 since wednesday. All the herbs go to my account via mail loot to alt. Haven't had a ban yet even tho the account on wich all the herbs go to also is been used for selling over 200K gold to pusada

its still risky i think .. i bot like 3-5 hour's a day im lvl 40 now.. in like 1 week.. in about 3 weeks im 80 if i continue and hopefley i dont risk a ban with it

I?ve botted around 16 hours a day for more than 1? months now, still no warning or nothing.

The precautions you read up on are to avoid player reporting.

Talking in-guild is the same as not talking at all, ever. If you've decided you want to give the allusion that you're always chatting, strike up a conversation in /1. Get the people you're sharing the zone with talking with you because if anyone, those are the people that will report you.

Good idea Tag. Hadn't thought of that.

I've actually hand leveled this player to 52, then I quit till I found HB. So my quest achieve isn't empty or anything.

My last 3 handleveled 80's had done like 10 quest or so when they hit 80 ..
Had done zero AH, zero PvP and zero interaction with nonguildies.

I don't see the logic here.
IF and WHEN a GM decides to take a look @ you and catch you botting(or warden gets an upgrade, same shit); you are fried even if you chatter away in /1 like there is no tomorrow and PvP like you are Dahis on drugz.
If you get reported by a player because you lack achievements or whatever they (or warden) still need to catch you redhanded.
It's not like the GM casually surfs the statistics of the server and goes "heeeey this guy havent done 1 single quest! Lets check him out!"
If you think that's how the GM's work you are very much mistaken.

HOWEVER, they do have scripts that casually checks serverstatistics of the GOLD transfered on the server and that script often goes:
"heeeeey this guy just lost 200k gold lets flag him"

Player reports. Reports from players. Reports that are done by players.

IF and WHEN a GM decides to take a look at you = when you accumulate enough (an unknown, set amount, probably) player reports for not having standard achievements, being online for extended hours and repeatedly ignoring attempts at communication.

Red handed? The evidence is all there and when/if a GM decides to look at you they'll see it. You can't exactly hide your achievements from GM's or players for that matter.

Take your head of out your ass. This topic has nothing to do with the amount of gold a player has or what he's traded.

Exacly my point.
I think I've botted roughly 20 chars to 70-80 including the ppather days.
Most of em 24/7. I know for a FACT that some of them have got quite a few player reports on them afterwards they hit their designated target lvl.
I got 1 account banned and that was the banwave from the client ninja detectionfix back in TBC.

bottet my warlock complete alone from 1 - 70. NO quests, no chat, nothing. Trainer every 2 - 6 levels. Gear every 10 levels. Hit 70 today. No ban so far.

@ 4 hours a day it would take you AT least 6 weeks to hit 80 I think

And that's what I would like to avoid haha. Thanks everyone for the input. Ill be botting him as much as possible till 80. Then its off to farm with GB!

if you are on EU servers, dont worry about getting banned. just bot 24/7 it wont matter

I just want to say... it all depends on the realm.

Think of it as if you were a drug dealer.
Some people will love you , some will ignore you, some will even avoid you , while others either hate you or willing to hunt you down.

Just be smart, take the time to think before you go 24/7 and study the situation And use a "good" profile that doesn't get stuck too often.
Nothing will get you banned like a bad profile!

This applies to HB and GB , more caution with HB on high pop realms. As with GB, you're in the sky most of the time .

And DO NOT EVER use public profiles.
Download the public profiles and learn how to make your own mesh/profile (its REALLY simple) and pick spots that is somewhat of the track and where you feel secure on your realm.

I am gonna post my 10-60 profile as soon as my next 2 chars are done.

I'm botting 24h a day if it's possible. Level 41 no and 0 problems

I'm botting 1 account 24/7 with herb/min and my main account on the night (When I'm not doing anything with my main).

Never been banned for botting and barely heard of any..
And I would never bot on a account I couldn't replace. Never do that!

Just fill upp with food and bot without doing anything, you could get an addon to check Honor/EXP per hour (Even the HB one works as well). And change something, if it increases, you're heading the right direction m8

well i bot almost as long as connection or game holds it online, cause sometimes its router resets or wow errors, but most times its at least 12h day, already got a good ammount of chars levled with bot, not all with hb, but even farmed honor nonstop all day long and still no ban.

guess its just like ppl said, be carefull, measure risk and dont be slacker about boting, always check lastest updates in bot, cc, profiles, coments of other users, test them all yourself, fix anything wrong, even the slightest mistake can cost you an account.
