There you go =o)
Still not quite what I asked for Thunder. Please see the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for steps on attaching a complete debug log file to a post.

My rogue started a wsg (horde) and went to ride off the hill.. then started doing the "I'm a bot dance", and just sat at the edge running around crazy like there was molten lava Down there. No log.

Forgot to mention that when I turn squire off... Everything works again.

I think its trying to pick up a follow on dead people or just in a holding pattern waiting for someone to follow. Thanks for the info on switching off tho...

Names and Faces have been blacked out for safety of characters. I let these people follow me, I actually had lost a Hunter and Paladin that was on follow as well in a fight at Lighthouse just before the BG end.

I had 4 people on /follow :(

Its defiantly not Squire they are using... Squire does not /follow and it stays about 20 or so yards back at all times and it switches people it follows quite often without ever targeting anyone... if you target a person that you think is following you using squire you wont see (you) on your tooltip and that is whats great about Squire that it doesn't target anyone. i don't even think they are using HB to be honest. or are using Set the Leader in battleground instead of Instances.

Ahh ok, I never used Squire, but thought it /followed from hotspot to hotspot or something. Whatever bot they were using, I get like 2-3 on me every BG, its annoying but fun cause horde thing they are getting gang raped, then realise 3/4 of the group is afk

if you value your account stop using this plugin, i have people follow me every game and its so obvious + annoying.

The only thing I have seen that has made people suspicious is the mount logic. I was doing a WSG when someone notices that I always mounted when they did. They started calling me a bot. Luckily I was there and played it off with something like “nope….I just figured you knew what you were doing so I was following you”

-Botman

A couple quick reminders:

- This thread is for support of Squire users only. If you want to warn users of the dangers of botting be a sport and start your own thread for this purpose and stop hijacking mine.

- Following another character in a Battleground is not an original idea, so it is a mistake to think that just because a character is following another in a battleground that they are using Squire. There are numerous other bots all of which support this ability in some form as well as the ever present /follow command. There are even multibox add-ons that will automate establishing and renewing /follow as needed

- Don't mention items such as Squire known only by a portion of HonorBuddy users in game since that would presumably identify you as a botter.

bobby: just wondering if there's going to be support for other BG's in the future?

I'm getting the following
Plugin from C:\Users\logic\Desktop\HB\Plugins\Squire could not be compiled! Compiler errors:
File: Squire.cs Line: 325 Error: 'Styx.Helpers.StyxSettings' does not contain a definition for 'UseExperimentalPathFollowing' and no extension method 'UseExperimentalPathFollowing' accepting a first argument of type 'Styx.Helpers.StyxSettings' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
File: Squire.cs Line: 327 Error: 'Styx.Helpers.StyxSettings' does not contain a definition for 'UseExperimentalPathFollowing' and no extension method 'UseExperimentalPathFollowing' accepting a first argument of type 'Styx.Helpers.StyxSettings' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

I have reinstalled HB and Squire.
any ideas?

I'm getting a mounting error when running this every once in a while. Sometimes it mounts fine, and sometimes it twitches forward trying to mount over and over and usually takes a while to stop doing it. I get an error something like:

[Squire]: Trying to mount for .625ms. Failed.
repeating many times with different time intervals.

I am not at home to get a log file but can get one for you if you don't know the cause of this offhand.

thanks bobby.

Hi, bobby! Sometimes when i'm following a man(on a mount), my warrior takes out mount a run - but the man whom is following I is on mount...what to do?
Sorry for my English(I'm russian)

That's an old version of Squire. Update to the most recent version.

Yes. My time was focused on some other projects so Squire has been sitting still at the moment. Will return to it soon

Thanks for your contribution but i'd wish that you would combine this CC with the SimpelFollower which has WAAAAY better movement. It tracks groups and joins them, it doesn't need to follow individuals.

When trying to modify plugin settings, it says to find the file /plugins/squire/squire_name.xml to edit, but nothing is created in that folder besides the squire and squire.settings files. Could this be because my toon name has special character in it?

when i use this on my lock it keeps trying to summon my pet even if my pet is besides me. >_<
