Wow Errors Are turning into bans.....

Well, I haven't seen a single report of any botter being teleported (other than he-said/she-said from Pirox himself)

So until I start seeing reports of them doing this again, I'll have to believe otherwise.

If they actually are randomly teleporting again, we'll definitely make sure to add in 'detection' of teleports.

This is excatly, what I want from my bot, and what kind of service I want from the bot creator group!

Seeing if there is a possibility, for this kind of behavior to be true. And if it is acting as needed.

Thanks alot, that makes me feel happy already. : )

I was getting the errors a lot, but they stopped when I turned off all my addons.

There are two ways of becoming a target of blizzard (gathering only).
A) another player actively reports you
B) you start to show up in blizzards heuristic tools

Someone is online 24/7?
Unlikely to be a human.

Online times are either unrealistic or vary too much (noone really farms for 8 hrs after raiding 4 hours, at least not on a regular basis)

You give gold away to random players you are not affilliated with on a regular basis (e.g. different accounts etc).

There are some factors that actually LOWER your heuristic score:

First and foremost: authenticator
Blizzard DOES log you off from time to time on purpose once your score reaches 75/100.
If you log on within 60 seconds using authenticator, your score is lowered by 50. Bots can't grab their iPhone and authenticate :)

Chatting in /g or /realID and actually participating in real convos also lowers by a huge amount, but only when actively monitored by the abuse team (15 people in paris for the EU realms).

Having BoP raid gear, a huge achievement pool and other stuff a botter would never do lowers by 20.

Last important info:
Let 100 bots pass before you accuse a paying player of botting when they aren't.
That's the rule of thumb within the abuse team.

This info comes from a friend of mine who is a GM supervisor in paris.
I trust him, but can't guarantee for correctness at this point.

So if your not gathering the heuristic doesn't come into account?

my account has a autheticator on it and often dc's overnight and isn't logged back in for hours is this bad?

i did make a report here a few days ago, all 3 of my bots got ported but i was also using another program with hb so i cant be sure it was a gm that ported me, i was using *everyones favorite hack* and bam all 3 of my accounts that were botting were teleported. but sence the program i use also has an option to teleport maybe hb just sent a command through the wow client that was intercepted through the loader and somehow teleported me, not plausible but also not impossible.... idk havent had a ban or port sence then and i was at my comp at the time and started playing manually on all 3 characters for a few minutes before starting the bot again.

I got disconnected last night while using GB, time to start taking nights off I suppose.

That doesn't make sense? Why would you do that how did you know what dc'd you? I was asking a question about it not saying that anything is going to happen.

I have noticed allot of crashes, none with portals however(was afking in the night). I noticed that last week I received allot more errors then usual and was suspended for 72 hours on two accounts. Maybe they port you and this causes the game to crash. Or the more logical explanation is a minor background patch which made wow instable.

Happened to me a few days ago; left GB2 going in Zul'Drak & when I relogged in the morning I was in Eastern Kingdoms. According to the small amount of EK herbs in my bags I wasn't there long before my acct auto logged off. However, I was also using a speedh*ck that I have found to be a bit unpredictable. No ban or warning yet on that account.

Even with glider i had a lot false warnings thanks to lag i dont think we need such things

The heuristic for BGs and archeology is managed by another team.
No info yet, sorry.

Well... In general...yes... This would be bad.
My toons have a score of 14 atm, this is, what I do (this does not mean other ways are unsafe):
I go to work, open up my notebook and have the bot farm 9am-5pm.
After that i log off and raid with another toon.

Basically, i bot attended.

Another good info:
GMs are pussies, if they DC your bot, log back in and be bold...write an angry ticket complaining about DCs and stuff.
Blizz expects botters to panic and never use their bots again.

All in all...act human ;-)

how do u know ur score?

Dam double posted

So because i have a authenticator on my account and let it dc overnight so i don't bot 24/7 it looks bad?

Maybe if i remove the authenticator and let it dc overnight like it always does? would be better?

on a unrelated note i thought it doesn't matter if u bot 24/7 as long as u dont get reported, unless your grinding.

If you have auth it lowers your score in general. So it's a blade with two edges.
If you dc, this can happen due to various reasons.
Your line broke for a sec, you clicked to move too fast (try for yourself), your PC TCP stack fucked up for a sec, etc.
Being DCed by a GM is just one of many reasons.

Also, it takes some time for a bot to show up in the heuristic stats and even then it will take awhile for a GM to look into it.

So no, removing auth won't neccesarily help, nor is it bad to have it (security on your toon aside).

Also, I don't know about the exact insights like what priority botbanning has with blizzard or how the heuristic works in detail.
Plus all info I get from france is based on what the guys talk about during lunch :/

The bottomline at least for me is: I won't bot unattended.
Everything else is up to the individual user and how much you balue your toons.

Since I'm no pro making actual money out of botting but just sponsoring our raids flask cauldrons and gems plus some cash for bad times when I need an expensive enchant on new heroic gear I guess I ride rather low :)

Read my first post again. I didn't say we need it. I said, I like this is kind of customer service.
