Bots are not getting banned now, please enable auth servers and let me bot

I'm pretty sure this won't achieve anything because nobody really cares about what people write around here but here it goes anyway

Please enable the auth server. All the bots that are still running are not banned and have been running since the ban wave, please let us bot at our own risk. Do I really have to get the competitor bot instead of this one? Feel free to add some disclaimer "bot at your own risk, nothing has been done to prevent the detection currently in place" but let the ones who choose to bot, bot at their own risk if they so choose. This is the same principle as censorship, you don't think I should bot, but I wish to bot and I assume the risks for doing it, and by the way, that's what botting is anyway, taking risks and understanding that sooner or later you will be banned.
 
I agree with this 100%. On top of the fact there has been no information since the bans happened, 5 days ago, we can't bot. Well I've also had several bots up still up since the banwave and they have botted until this patch will hit in 30 minutes without any bans on any of them. Competitor bots are also running just the same. It's a free to play game, let us use the bot, if I get banned I get banned, it's my decision to use third party software not yours.

I have no idea why after 5 days I still can't auth new bots on the auth server, just like the OP says, it's the same principle as censorship, you think I shouldn't bot and you force me not to?

Please enable the auth servers and let the ones who want to use bot as it is now bot as it is, you don't get to make decisions for us. Feel free to put up the disclaimer that it isn't safe, or that nothing has changed since the bans happened, and let people make their own decisions.
 
What you two are saying makes sense, but if they open up the auth servers knowing that there is a greater than normal risk of getting a ban means that they open themselves up to a lot of bitching, even IF they warn you about it first.

Ok, so let people bitch? People are bitching anyway because of being unable to bot. Competitor bot is running and there's basically no bitching, I know because I'm there reading everything. I just want to be able to use the bot and take the risk associated with it, do I need to reach out to someone to be given this?
 
I believe they will have to mess with variety of users where some want to bot and some don't, because subscription isn't free and burning everyone's sub's time isn't fair.
Just a quick think of example thing they will have to bother about ^
 
Exiled bot users are botting free atm, when i asked Alcapone at his forum if the bot was detected, he told me that it is not and they are having no more bans. PPl just suffered at the only banwave, when Pushdex turned the auth down. After that almost no bans. Wtf pushdex? I understand, that u probably got ur test bot (more then one or 10?) banned for the first time and that made u piss u pants but GGG settled dowd already. For now at least. By the time u release new update of Ebuddy, another banwave might hit and Exbuddy would be closed for sure. Let ppl bot for now at least. Take that time advantage we have.
Im pretty sure GGG are just having those 3 weeks wipes all the league length. Exiledbot was "detected" 3 days after league start. Lotsa old rmx accs was banned, but then they botted succesfully, until another banwave after 3 weeks hit them and exbuddy a week ago. After that they are botting safe again. For next 3 weeks i guess. But we are not. Exbuddy users.

There are ppl at Exilebuddy slack server, who have been running exubddy for almost 5 days already 24/7 without bans (they did not turn the bot off, so no auth problems). Thats was discussed many times at slack. Dont know why Pushdex is stating that botting now is a guaranteed ban. Its is not. At least untill new banwave, when botters piss GGG off with that 185 chaos ex rate and they decide to purify every1 again.
 
I hate to be the "Negative Nancy" here...... but if they have taken this long they are probably contemplating shutting the entire software down altogether. Otherwise, why has it taken so long to open the auth server back up?

Because they actually wanna find out what happened? It is the normal response.
 
Agreed. It's better with many people than a fews, if we get banned using the bot you have greater chance collect data you want. We all know the risk and we want to bot, please give us the option XD

Bots go down for longer than this all the time...

I think the catch 22 here is that if they turn Auth back on without "bypassing" or sorting out whatever anticheating caused the banwave then the users who don't want to use "unsafe" software will bitch that their sub time is running on an unsafe bot.

And of course, the people here are bitching that days are going by without them being able to bot, even though they're presumably not losing sub time with Pushedx decides if it is safe or not.

I think what it comes down to is that this is Pushedx's bot and if he wants to keep it down for a bit longer then he can.

My personal guess is that the people who didn't get / haven't been banned since the banwave are just people that GGG still detected but decided not to ban. Probably because they spend $$$ on MTX and don't bot up enough currency to wreck the market for the legit players.

Bullshit, check ban reports, a lot of mains with few hundred $$$ got banned. No correlation. It did matter before that banwave, new accs without rmx tended to get bans more, but atm it is not.

And some people didn't get banned, like me.

Release the BOT ALREADY, who cares if we get banned anyway.
 
I for one would rather have them release it when the risk of detection is minimal. They have some sort of quality to uphold imo.
