I'm unsuccessfully trying to use PokeFarmer on a Mac using WineBottler or PlayOnMac (miserably failed on both of them!).
Should anybody on the forum ever managed to do it, I would appreciate some guidelines.

(pls avoid answers like 'install Boot Camp')

Either use a full VM or bootcamp on mac. Winebottler and playonmac usually never works.

Too much of a hassle/expense for using a bot. Looks that I'm gonna have to keep on walking or wait for the Bossland dev team to implement a mac version of PokeFarmer.

You can use Parallels Desktop.
Been using it for work, playing and botting for years now and it also works perfectly fine with Pokefarmer.

We're looking at a mac version but it's not coming out soon. Also if you're familiar with our buddy products none of our products support mac. So if you're banking on that you're better off using a Virtual machine.

I'll explore your solutions, but I'm afraid there are expenses incurred for the windows key, which is precisely what I'm trying to avoid.
Thank you guys for the answers anyway.

Well you can get a legit win 10 pro key for under 30€ and as a macuser doing stuff with bots, games it is never bad to have a windows system in the back.

The biggest advantage of Parallels Desktop is its coherence mode, this means if you start parallels desktop in this mode, it integrates into osx and you can run windows apps as if they were native osx apps.

You can for example place a pokefarmer.exe shortcut on your osx desktop and stuff like that, really really nice.
