Patch 2.5 adds primal ancient, and there is no more ''bonus act'' every act will give max materials. So DB will help even more in 2.5.

Actual keys expire two days after purchase, because we need money :)

garbage game is garbage... you call that a patch?
only reason i played diablo was cause i had nothing else to do with pc resources and a lifetime key
no people will not still buy diablo keys :)

Honestly if you look at how much the bot has improved many people will still buy keys. Of course they could of worked in some sort of deal for those who have lifetime keys. Such as a discount on a purchase of a new key, or add some bonus days to those who were expiring really soon. If it is as you say that you only played a game because you had a lifetime key, it's safe to say that you have now been released to waste your time doing something that will most likely be more productive. If however you like the product you'll buy another key. If you just take the time to understand why they had to make this decision, it's fairly easy to accept. I would much rather have to pay for another key, or 3 keys for 70$ or whatever it ends up being in U.S. to have a superior product which they will continue to improve, then to keep my lifetime keys and watch the bot slowly get worse because they don't have the money/manpower to improve it, or fix bugs etc. The world doesn't revolve around you, don't take shit so personal. It was a business decision made so that a company could survive and become better as a business, instead of crashing a burning. Think about the fact people's jobs were at stake as well. Piss off a bunch of entitled customers, and possibly lose a lot of them, or watch your company die and watch a ton of people lose jobs they need to provide for themselves or even a family. Just saying this because I think it's extremely annoying that people are posting shit like they have been because they can't look at anything other than how something impacts their lives.

Normal people take it personally when they pay money for something, but don't get what they were promised.

That's fine if you prefer it. But ethically and legally, they are doing the wrong thing by changing the terms of the sale. They have the right to ask customers for donations. They have the right to stop selling something that doesn't make them money, to create new products that are profitable, or to go out of business. They do not have a right to sell one thing and then change the terms after the fact.

A customer demanding exactly what they paid for is not entitled. Could you please stop kissing Bossland's ass?

I think everyone understands why Bossland is doing this. But it is still wrong.

Wrong because you're worried about your bot more than people's jobs? They made a promise they couldn't keep. How many people do you know that do that... Lets see... everyone. How many businesses do you think make promises they can't keep? Probably all of them. How many times have you bought something that didn't work how it said it would? All the fucking time. Also anyone who wouldn't prefer a bot that actually works over just completely shutting down and starting a new company and just leaving this shit to rot is just not thinking very clearly. Also you think I'm kissing Bossland's ass? Why would that even matter to me? You're all about doing the RIGHT thing, yet you probably spend your life doing many WRONG things. We all do it's human nature, no ones perfect, and those of you who come on here, and are so hypocritical and think your arguments are even remotely valid, are sadly mistaken. Why don't you do some research on some shit that is actually fucked up, like health disparities and structural violence.

Wrong because you're worried about your bot more than people's jobs?

I'm not worried about my bot. I do expect legal agreements to actually mean something. And as a customer, someone's job is not my concern. Can the grocery store sell me something for $20, and then charge me again for an extra $50 because they need the money? no. I agreed to buy a specific product at a specific price. Businesses don't get to retroactively change pricing like that. It's unethical.

They made a promise they couldn't keep.
They can keep it. They choose not to.

How many businesses do you think make promises they can't keep? Probably all of them.
Nope. The dishonest businesses usually fail, unless they have a monopoly or some other artificial way to keep customers. If my electric company randomly charged me whatever they felt was fair, month to month, I'd find a new electric company.

How many times have you bought something that didn't work how it said it would? All the fucking time.
I don't know what you're buying, but the products I buy generally do exactly what they say they will. And when they don't, I return them as defective.

Also anyone who wouldn't prefer a bot that actually works over just completely shutting down and starting a new company and just leaving this shit to rot is just not thinking very clearly.
Now you're making up your own conversations. I didn't say I prefer it. I said keeping your agreements is the right, moral, ethical, and legal thing to do. But of course people can choose to do the wrong thing if they want.

Also you think I'm kissing Bossland's ass?
You are.

You're all about doing the RIGHT thing, yet you probably spend your life doing many WRONG things.
I'm not ok with someone stealing money. You can be ok with that if you want.

Why don't you do some research on some shit that is actually fucked up, like health disparities and structural violence.
Because it has nothing at all to do with this conversation.
