Having an icon for the gem is awesome though.

I have four level 75 gems, and I've arranged it at top so it get upgraded first. I'd like to upgrade it to level 80, so i set the bot to run GR79.
What happen was, when one(first order slot) gem got upgraded to level 80, i cubed it right away to upgrade my item(babysit the bot at that moment).

For the next GR, i got that gem back as level 0, and i forgot to changed the ordering, and it keep upgrading the newly drop gem, instead of upgrading the other level 75 gem to level 80. Normally i would just run a low level GR to upgrade a low level gem, it saved time.

Last trinity version, the new acquired gem coming at the bottom. So i don't have this problem.

Pardon my english

So there are a few use-cases i intended to support, they are.

1) I want to upgrade the stuff currently equipped always first until the % chance is prohibitively low.

2) I want to upgrade gems with the highest % chance to succeed, using manual order when multiple gems have the same chance.

The problem then expressed to me was about upgrading gems to use in the cube for item stat bonuses. If you have 20 gems that are each taking a turn being upgraded, they upgrade uniformly as a group and it takes a long time for them all to reach max level. People would rather upgrade one at a time to max, so that they'll immediately have a few on hand to cube onto items.

3) I want to upgrade non-equipped gems one at a time up to max level so that i can use them in the cube.

If i understand what you're saying, the problem with (3) is that once you hit max and use the gem it drops again then continues to rank it up from 0-to-max because of the by-type manual ordering. When it would be better to move onto another gem which may be close to max or mid-way through etc.

Correct.

The reason i use the manual ordering because there might be chance that i will use that gem for other characters, so why not be prepare, upgrade that first, so when you need it, it's at least ready, not come the time when you need it, it still level 0.

This might not been an issue to anyone. Just some i face along the way.

Well, say if i end up not using it, then i still can cube it.
