[Request] Security / Safety Plugin

Hi all,

since i started botting several years ago...every bot that i have used had something like "log out on <...>" function, but HB doesn't.

Not only cause of botting in battlegrounds but also when farming, leveling..doing archeology or whatever else...sometimes you get whispered....and often this whispers are unrecognized.

I think it would be amazing to have some kind of security / safety plugin that comes along with some (what i think are basics for a bot) functions like:

- log out / reply on gm whisper, scheduled logout - login again after x minutes
- recognize when being followed (log out, stand still, wave at follower), scheduled logout
- save every chat (whisper, guild, bg, ...) which includes the character name in a separate file(not save everything, just when someone mentions the bots name)

Would be awesome if someone could do that, it would improve safety a lot!

Well, the only part that would seem of any difficulty would be the knowing if you're being followed. The GM whisper thing, I'm not sure if HB even notices, or would care to, when it comes up. It would have to use a pre-defined answer list, which would suck. But the messages, should be 'somewhat' easy to create a chat log. I haven't done anything with plugins or any of that, or I'd look into it for ya. But I'm gonna start with my Fire CC for my mage. GL

It can all be done, and it has been done.

In the plugins section you should be able to find plugins which does all of these things. (if its updated to current version of Honorbuddy im not too sure about, because the developers have been changing quite a bit in the API past few months)

I don't want to name other bots but it seems to be possible to notice if you get a gm whisper. I imagine the "being followed" function with the same function that is being used for the "follower" pvp plugins. The pluging could permanently scan the environment and loop over some conditions like

- target is in range of x meters for y minutes now
- target is targeting me

I know this doesn't work for high populated areas as there is almost always someone in range but for areas like barrens, tanaris, uldum and other questing areas where only a few people are questing something like this would be very helpful.

Had a bot farming in uldum and got whispered by a local player following me several times over night...that is a high risk as someone just needs to follow you for a few minutes and he can see "okay this guy is a bot".
