I get the error:

Diablo III is running but no build supported by Demonbuddy detected, was there a patch?
Session with specified sid does not exist in NorthAmerica region.

I have patched Diablo 3, and i have the latest download of demonbuddy.

any help is appreciated.

Does this have anything to do with this error?

I have never had this error before.

No, that error is when you start D3 in 64bit mode. See Toggling 32-Bit Mode - Blizzard Support to ensure you start D3 correctly.
