There could be a variety of issues happening.
Unfortunately, just saying that bounties aren't working is not going to help the situation. More specific information is required.
Things like class/build, Trinity version, specific bounties, your adventurer bounty settings, logs, etc.
There was a previous bug where town runs would sometimes reset explored nodes so when you went back into the map it would search every node again. There are also exploration methods that can be overridden by combat and thus force you to chase down a goblin or elite just to have to backtrack to unveil a node.
Combat priorities exist because living enemies too close to an objective can lead to a stuck issue where your bot keeps trying to get an objective but gets hit halfway through every time, endlessly until inactivity timer hits.
There are also bounties that aren't blacklisted because they work most of the time, but still might fail for various reasons.
Certain issues arise like Act 4 Corrupt Growths sometimes cause stuck issues.
Without going into anymore detail, there are known issues... There are also one off things that happen an no one has noticed them or bothered to report them.
For example,. I have found a few "gizmo" issues or other random stuck issues and have reported them with the information from the visualizer in the bot. This gives exact information and thus is easier to understand for a developer.
Again, the more information, the better.
