why does it say started but its in idle

whenever i run the bot, instead of doing something it just says, started and just stays in idle. can someone please explain?

Please post log file to the support section. not a picture bot the actualy Log text attachment.. I was told to try deleting my settings folder. Are you possibly softbanned via IP?

you do have a pokestop at least 1 in your bot range right? I know if you don't (dunno why people wouldn't) it makes it run idle the entire time. as I tried to bot near my apartment one day for the heck of it and it wouldn't run as I have no pokestops around me

A soft ban / IP ban would cause to pokestops to be "invisible" causing what nemester is talking about as well
