How safe is AB for casual botting?

Hey guys, I have used AB quite a lot, even wrote one of the earlier farming scripts, after over a year of botting, eventually I got banned, probably because I got lazy and tired of the game, oh, and at some point I was running 12 bots at the same time, hehehe, had way more fun actually botting and writing the scripts than playing the game.

I got back into AA, so I wanted to know, how safe is it to be a casual botter, only use for things like farming, no trade runs, quester(obviously), just plain old seed planting and harvest.
 
Since ArcheAge has died down a bit the witch hunt for bots has also gone down a bit I believe. I have 11 farming bots running 7-8 hours a day for the past year and a half. They are even planting single plants haha. I haven't had a ban in well over a year now. This is just me but I think casual botting is fine at this point because they are really only worried about the things that can hurt the in-game economy. Doubt they care seriously about some extra stacks of wheat. :p

thx for the reply man, yeah, I guess the more popular the server, higher the chances, also, I don't see a single combat bot around, only a few farmer ones.
 
I would not boy period any more. 4 of my accounts were banned just opening the fucking program. Stay away.
 
using it 3 days now, got banned 3 accs lol its always like that ?
 
Please ignore all of the ban accusations saying, OMG GOT 10 ACCOUNTS BANNED, CRAP PROGRAM!!! STAY AWAY! 99% of the time they used the questing plugin or had 3+ accounts on the same IP botting for stupid hours (ie 8hrs+)

I've botted since launch and haven't had a single ban, nor did I receive the email whenever the ban wave came around. They key to staying safe is to do the following things.

1. DONT EVER OPEN GLYPH AND ARCHEBUDDY AT THE SAME TIME!
2. Create an account that is solely designated to login to Glyph to update your game
3. Don't bot anything more than 6 hours repetitively
4. Only use ArcheBuddy to get in game on accounts you plan on playing, never launch the game with Glyph or login with accounts you bot on with Glyph.
5. The questing plugin has a super high ban rate! If you run the plugin, never do it on more than 1 character at a time, and limit it to 3-4 hour sessions with breaks in between.

After religiously practicing those tips, I've remained hidden on every single ban wave that has come through. Traderuns are probably the safest plugin to run consistently and coinpurse farming is fairly safe as long as you don't bot like 1k purses a day. Use common sense and keep your gaming tendencies consistent and human like. Nobody quests for 10 hours straight... Even if you did it legitimately, you could potentially get banned due to their banning metrics.

its also not a bad idea to bot where there aren't many people if your using a combat plugin to farm coinpurses and such.

These are really good tips. I'm going to adapt some of them.

I also made a script that launches the bot for me, that ensures all glyph processes are gone, adn then added them to a scheduler, so my accounts login at set times each day for about 3 hours and logs off... plus having the scheduler relaunches my bot all the time to get updates, only manual thing I do is update glyph and sell the shit im botting
 
Yep good tips I just think about 1 things - cause using VPN proxy etc is really fast bannable (I speak about private proxy, they have some system detections VPN)

what u think if u will log account with glyph, close glyph and play at ur account (legit from glyph) with logged bot from AB is risky for ur main?
 
Don't mix legit client and AB client at same time, you will get banned all of it.
I learned the hard way.
Quited AA after it happen but come back due to fresh server.
