Back to botting -- Updating Everyone on whether we can bot safely

First botting will never be 100% foolproof. However, I am buying wow and creating a new account to test if we can go back to using HB. I know people are iffy right now and so am I about being detected. Therefore I am Starting an account and testing HB over the next couple of days to see if I get banned (for the sole purpose of letting myself and the community know the outcome). I started Tonight about 2 and a half hours ago and I will keep everyone updated.

Also, I am only using the battlechest. It was only $9.99 USD (Comes with a free month of play time). I don't want to go waste $60+ USD, in the event I get banned, without testing the waters for a few days.

If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to drop them here and I am sure I or someone from the community will be able to help you out.

UPDATES:

Status: 11/17/2016 -- Going good. No issues so far. Bot is working great no ban as of yet. Tripwire IS active.

I started back up yesterday and the account lasted about 20 hours and i was banned not sure but im questioning whether my ip has been flagged after the last banwave
 
I have 4 accounts running 24/7 since friday night (not banned yet) so i think its safe to say that you can lowkey bot here and there without getting banned.
 
I start to bot a DK this morning in a new account. right now its safe.
 
Started on saturday with few accounts. All of them banned tonight.

EDIT:
New pc, new wow install, new IP. I hope that the tripwire really have been fixed and now I won't get banned after farming only 500k per accounts :|

are you able to bot right now? haven't been able to bot past 2 days
 
I was botting for three hours on Tuesday during raid, but since then I have been playing by hand. Still not banned.

I feel that unless you are using HB for profit, you should only really use the bot when you REALLY need it, just to reduce the probability of them detecting it with random check.

I'm botting bc I love botting and automation of tasks. So 100% of my accounts are botted toons. That and I find enjoyment out of developing plugins for myself. I may release a few soon.

But back to I love botting. I don't think i have hand played a toon in 7-8 years or something? Glider days
 
I would like to add one more thing. I've been banned 12 hours after enabling the tripwire. Been fine with the tripwire disabled. After looking into ban section it looks I'm not the only one banned after activating tripwire.

Same happend to me: I was driving in my car for 2 month without a Saftey Belt. Then I listen to my friends and buckled up. The very next day I was waiting at a red stop light and a car crashed into mine from behind.
That was evidence enough: from that day om I never used a saftey belt anymore - I did't had any accidents since then. Need more prove?

I'm not saying the tripwire theory makes sense, but this is just dumb.

You won't be flagged by IP as that will bring up to many false postives... More likely to be HWID or something a long them lines

I guess nobody thinks that but as far as I know it's good to give as much information as you can about the ban you received.

What kind of "botting" are you doing?

ie: just leveling, farming, gathering, CR, WQ?

Also how long are you going for at a time?

so just disable tripwire and leave it off huh? I knew this one was going to be bad with the price of accs right now they are racking it in boys, when you guys mean banned do you mean closed accounts or 6 month suspensions?
 
you can tinfoil hat or whatever, deal is they ban you whenever they want.
