I am the BD ( Helltooth Harness and Staff of Chiroptera,But no Legendary.StaffOfChiroptera)
SkillsS: Summon Zombie Dogs, Spirit Walk ,Fetish Army ,Gargantuan ,Firebats ,Wall of Death (No Haunt !!!!!)

You're saying that the bot is trying to cast haunt and you don't want it to?

What build are you trying to use?

You have Gargantuan on your skill list. That is only used for the Helltooth Gargantuan build. If you want to use that build, you need to wear Short Man's Finger, and wear either the Tasker and Theos or the Mask of Jeram, and cube the one you're not wearing. This also means you need to use a Ring of Royal Grandeur in the cube to get the 6p Helltooth bonus. You also need to wear the Endless walk set (amulet and ring).

Gargantuan Pet build should something like this: Diablo III Character Planner

The Ring of Emptiness does NOT work on pets so if you are wearing it instead of wearing the endless walk set or the Short Man's Finger, then Gargantuan is a wasted skill.

And Fetish army is not really used anymore. It's just not stronk enough.



...If you want to use the Helltooth Firebat build, you have to use Haunt and Locust Swarm... The firebat damage is massively increased by using the Ring of Emptiness which requires haunt and locust to be affecting an enemy... Up to 300%

Locust swarm or Piranhas need to be on your skill bar to proc the Bakuli Jungle Wrap belt, which increases Firebats damage 200%. Since we need Locust Swarm for the Ring of Emptiness, we use that and not Piranhas.

And you must wear the Staff of Chiroptera or you're missing out on 100% Firebats attack speed bonus, 75% reduced mana cost and 60% Firebats damage roll.

...And "technically" you "could" use Plague of Bats instead of Cloud of Bats. But when you're casting Locust Swarm, enemies tend to surround you... And Cloud Of Bats is an AOE in a circle AROUND you while Plague of Bats is a directional cone in front of you. Also, Cloud of Bat's scales up to 850% weapon damage while Plague Bats only scale up to 720%.



Sooo... yeah... Tell us what you're trying to do because you're not really using a good build.

My ideal is also the Helltooth Firebats build should be: Diablo III Character Planner, but now is too much, I was lucky to get a Ancient legendary Staff of Chiroptera, I'll try Firebats, but Firebats cannot use.
At the same time, don't show Firebats tip Haunt effect (not Haunt, my skills list).
I think remind programmers, might be beneficial

You don't seem to realize how the firebat build works. Ring of emptiness increases all damage by 300%. The build is literally built around it, without it the build isn't competitive. The ring is procced by haunt and locust swarm.

I mainly focus on Helltooth After casting Wall of Death, and 1400% increased damage for 15 seconds to primary skills, Firebats. But DB not use Firebats. And the Wall of Death not in time, hoping to add options next version.

You need to be using the staff, ring of emptiness, and 6p helltooth set with locust swarm and Haunt on your bar. If you don't have Haunt or Locust swarm on your bar, then the bot is not going to cast firebats often because it's designed to affect enemies with those before casting bats.

Just do me a favor and us the following skills:

  • Haunt, Poisioned Spirit
  • Soul Harvest, Languish
  • Locust Swarm, Pestilence

  • Bakuli Jungle Wraps

  • Compass Rose
  • Convention of Elements

  • Staff of Ciroptera
Bracers:
  • Lakumba's Ornament
  • Coils of the First Spider
    • Whatever has a better stat roll
CUBE:
  • Furnace, Mantle of Channeling, Ring of Emptiness

If you aren't going to wear the right skills and gear, then we are not going to be able to help you out. Please wear these skills and gear and report back.



If you don't think firebats is still casting correctly, do this:

1) Get onto Discord and use the latest version in the #BUILDS section. Currently it's version .664. It will use Firebats correctly without you having to mess with a bunch of settings.

2) I would suggest lowering your avoidance on everything to 30% life, except Molten Core should stay at 100%.

3) In the Item's tab, change the "Free bag Slots for Town Run"
....."When not in town" Should be set to around 4.

4) Then setup your itemlist.

Other than that, shouldn't have to change any settings.

hi there! im using Trinity version 2.55.685 and i do have the above set up
unfortunately, db usually casts wall of death where my character is standing and not where the creeps are or when they aren't any creeps at all. only 1/5 times does it cast wall of death where the creeps are.
it also casts firebats when the mobs are not in range, wasting away mana.

This has been happening since version 672
