I have seen alot of dif things about this on the forum so i just wanted clarification on it.
In the root of HB you have the following files:

ForceMail.xml
Protected Items.xml
Badnodes.xml

Now is HB and GB2 working right where if you set those up it will be used universally in all of our profiles or is this still having issues?

Also if you definte with in the profile something different than from these generic ones, which one wins out?

i didn't think there were badnodes in gb2 ... i think there are blackspots - or did it change recently?

yea well having a clear picture of what does what and how would be nice from someone...

badnodes.xml is only for GB1. As Kick said GB2 uses blackspots contained directly in your profile if you made your own profile you will have to add your blackpots

forcemail.xml A somewhat complete list of items with that a user typically wishes to mail.
We recommend that you use Notepad++ (Notepad++ | 5.8.7) to edit XML
as proper colorization greatly aids in the location of problems.

If you decide you don't need certain sections of this file, we recommend you comment them
out, rather than actually delete the lines. We've tried to keep the items in each subsection
sorted appropriately, such that commenting out is easy to do.

that was taken directly out of a defualt forcemail.xml

lastly protecteditems.xml is exactly what it says open it with notepad ++ an edit it with items you dont want to be sold or mailed

hope this helped

This helped alot, thank you for taking the time to reply. Just one more question. When it comes to blackspots. There is no universal file for it like protected items? Blackspots need to be done on a profile by profile basis?

the badnodes in GB2 will be blacklisted after 3 tries automatic for that session
in GB1 you will use the badnodes.xml
if you want to permantly blacklist a node or area it has to be done in the current profile you are using

see attachment

this was told to me how you added a black spot so if im wrong i was misinformed myself
