looking for some solid restart from banned tps and how many to run

okay i decided to test the limits and found out 15 bots on 1 ip and 1 pc is too many all were hit within 24 hours even old accs most were new which might of been the issue same card and name on all...

so i was being lazy so i do feel dumb however i started my normal 5 accs again and they were hit within 2 days so they have my ip down now

so ill be using a proxy

however is that all i need to do or do i need to mess with resetting my pc i figured the ip is enough right?

now would of my situation would of gone differently if i put 5 accs on an ip and had 3 ips for those 15 accs or what?

i want to try to do 10 accs divided on 2 different ips with different names on each and not made right after each other and from keys not my CC

any advice

or should i stick to 5 bots per pc?
 
Depends how they look at your machine. If your machine is powerful enough you could run VM's and have a couple in each one. I believe they ban by the computer rather than the IP address. Hyper-V is free or VMWare Workstation
 
After a ban like that the first step I would've taken was wiping the PC.

Your IP address is not the real issue, but all the other stuff, uniquely identifying you with your past records on Blizzard side.

okay im in the position to swap the hardrive to a different one with a full whip and name the pc different and setup my files differently plus change the ip threw proxy.

this is sufficent? where did i go wrong with my 15 bot plan?

It is most likely your MAC address. A proxy should do it

Beyond what already was said in that thread, I would advise you , with your personal situation in mind, to stay away from IP hiding systems.

Both Proxies and vpn's require further net knowledge to be adequately used, and present a different set of problems, which are often complicated to solve ( best vpns are not the most used ones, which means that they don't have an "autoswitchoff"system for whenever the server goes down; the very second the server goes down you'll be connecting to blizz from your real IP, which will raise a huge red flag on your real IP and will frequently cause a manual investigation. Worst possible outcome)

It has been advised a countless number of times, but....best approach is buying old machines with just the adequate power to run 5 bots. USD machines which don't occupy a lot of space seem like a good option. Blizzard do take whichever hardware ID they use into consideration when banning, so phisically separating bots have proved useful for me, and for many other users here. Not always though, IP bans are scary real. Though, unusual.

About VM's , not enough experience on my side to comment. It would be really nice if other folks could share their experiences with VM's, but people tend to keep this "information" for themselves. No sense of community in this community, sadly.

yeah i guess what ill do is swap harddrives and use another ip for a while only choice i have, i wonder how i would go apon setting up 20 or even 50 bots if i ran 5 per pc and had proxies i would really have to rent virtual pcs wouldnt i?

and if the proxy goes down the game disconnects actually so it doesnt show the ip thats been masked i dont think. i could be wrong but thats the whole point of proxies/

i have 10 proxies all different ip ranges good speeds.

i can make 4 or 5 reliable quad core 8 gb units with what i have at my house and about another 4 with dual core (could only run 2 each max) but its seperated...

and 2 main computers with 32 gbs

makes me mad i have the resources needed just need to figure out the proper way.

i wish i knew the number of accounts that is safe per 1 pc / ip its atleast 5 but less then 15.

ive heard one guy runs 12 on his one pc but you never know the facts that may be what his goal is idk..

my only concern is my main pcs i really like to run as many as i possibly can

perhaps 5 on 1 ip 5 on another ip on the same pc atleast it doesnt show 10 on 1 ip.



or should i just do 5 on each pc i can and then 2 on the lower machines and just put a different ip on each computer and split the risk by taking half over to my friends apartment??

Swapping harddrives is a futile step. There is an easy-to-get program that will change your HDD-ID for you without needing to physically change them. Same goes with your MaC address, there are free programs to do so.

Furthermore, there are a hundred of different IDs in each system that could be used to identify your computer as a botting one, and no one knows which ones Blizz uses.

Virtual PC's aren't appropiate for botting, sadly. Ram is the key factor. Maybe in the future...

If you wanna be safer, don't be lazy. Full reformat your pcs.

Yeah, the game disconnects and you disconnect from their server....but do you use any sort of relogger? If you intend to go big, that's like the first step. And, when using a relogger, you'll need a program to avoid it to run whenever the proxy is down. Is not that easy....

Honestly, I think that the best you can do is creating your own way. Start by your 2 big comps with 5 bots in each. Raise them to 10 if you dare.....if they last enough for you, start using the lower machines. As you have as many Proxies available, you shouldn't need your friends place.

I'm not used to proxies, but VPNs. And they aren't exactly easy to use. You could find that using your proxies is the thing that's flagging you. Are those IP's not blacklisted? Are those IP's private?

Wireless card will change the mac address. If you swap from Ethernet to Wifi it will use a different mac address. It's very hard to say what blizzard use but I know that when I got banned my brother didn't on his pc, I have been banned many times.

Who knows? Does anyone know for a fact (as in other thing than opinions-based or not) what does blizzard use to flag accounts?

Sounds like something lazy people would do. Hey, I don't want to reformat, let's save 2-3hours of installing crap.

But when you'll be banned again, you won't know if it was any computer ID that is kept within your comp by blizzard files somewhere. They ARE shady, ask the devs.


I've answered considering that you mean a full system restore from a point before wow was installed. If you really mean the registry only - no, only that would NOT work.

There's a useful bat file on this forum, made by a great community developer, that cleans every single blizz related file from your registry with 1 click.

If avoiding flagging was that easy, nobody would take the harder parth.

I'm not saying that it is not useful, it might be and I do use it. But again....don't be lazy, you will want to be sure that you made everything you could to avoid rebanning.
 
if your bots are moving gold i would not put more than 1 bot on one ip / computer.

youll find 100 people telling you that it works fine, but in the end you will end up getting hammered across all linked accounts most likely.

if you're just farming mats to a GB and not moving gold you might be good with 5 accounts per IP/Computer.

If you plan to move gold u rather seperate your accounts because you will hit by "abuse of economy" bans

What if I'm just farming gold to buy a WoW token and putting the rest in the guild bank? (I'm just trying to understand if that's what you mean by moving gold.) Thanks!
 
everything involving gold is dangerous. even if its just wow tokens. But theres obviously RNG - but in general it doesnt matter if you face2face trade the got from your bot, do it on the AH, Mail it, do it through GB - eventually, if you do too much they will catch and hammer you
 
How I move my gold to my main account: After guild banking became unreliable.

I post something on the AH for a very high price. and I buy it on my farming account. mostly mounts and stuff. buying a mount for 50k or 200k doesn't look shady at all. and its easy.

Main Account buys mount for 20K gold.
Main Account reposts it for 80k , 100k or 200K etc
Farming account buys the "over priced" mount.

Pretty simple. and effective.
