New Legitimate account banned at L6

Hi Guys,

I think Niantic are doing something to track users which have previously botted and are banning all accounts associated with that user.

I'm thinking maybe they know the device we are using?

I created a brand new account, never botted and it was banned at Level 6. (it took me 3 days to get there too!) The only thing I can think as they have my phone as a known cheating device?

Also my Wife has never ever botted/spoofed and has only ever used her iPhone (non cheating device) and just hit L25 yesterday, today she is perma-banned so I cannot see any logic in that.
 
yeh, I have been hearing this around the traps. I don't know how or why they are doing it but its shit. They will eventually start banning more innocent players who log into a friends phone or someone who buys a second hand phone that was used on a botting account.
I know a legit player who flew from Cananda to USA for a day then flew back and was banned. Supposedly for teleportation.

Niantic are struggling to recognize who is legit and who isn't. I recon they think who cares we have millions playing this game if we ban 1 million legit players or not we don't care.
 
On the up side this is going to save me a lot of money :) my wife spends a lot of money on the game now she has given up ;)

If you open a good account, after opening a bad account on your device you will be banned.

Delete the program, clear cache, reinstall program, re-sync google account.

If you don't do this, your account will be banned.

Simple, use PF *wait for it* you've been smacked on the forehead by the banhammer!

Good tip. Doesn't explain the iPhone only account though.
 
Yes, But that phone has never had any botted account or spoofed account ever logon to it.
 
shall i say good bye to my legit acc too guys? cause i have loged with my banned accs with my phone?
 
Probably, my legit and paid account (in app purchase) got banned (no perma ban mail yet, like my other botted accs), and I didn't bot on it. Just logged into the phone on the same accs.
