Are unmerged accounts still a thing?

I was looking around today trying to find a site that sells unmerged WoW accounts, but it seems really hard to find anything anymore. Is there anywhere to still get your hands on them? What happened

What happened? Well, Battle.net Real ID launched like 2009(?), and after that no new unmerged accounts has been possible to register. It's "late" 2016 now so...

They are no longer available. No point to look around, unless you are seeking for some scammers.

2-3 years ago Blizzard resetted the passwords on all the unmerged accounts, so they could not be claimed anymore without contacting Blizzard with proof of identity.

Keep in mind, all the recent Expansions, like WOD and Legion are using the template of the unmerged accounts with the Boost to 90/100, included in the purchase.
