Legionbuddy - Am i the only one who feels abit ripped off ?

I know LB is another "product" - but come on. Its only there because their original HB got too well known and detected.
They lost a shit ton of serious people who used HB for the rotations only - and now theyre coming back with another product thats supposedly "alot safer" (and because they know alot of their customers went another way -> soap).

Ok i get ya, it sounds cool - and i actually missed HB abit.

But how freaking dare you NOT to transfer our buddystore products/rotations to this LegionBuddy?

I feel ripped off and not very valued customer of HB for 5-6 years.

You do realise that Legionbuddy is 64bit as opposed to 32bit, so the routines that you bought would not be compatible with the new software.

Precisely, furthermore, these are new rotations that need to be built from the ground up. I'm no developer but i guess that involves time, which i'd want to get paid for!

Took me ~2 months working from morning until night to re-write all of mine.

More like I love my Toyota that I bought 2 years ago and all of a sudden Toyota stopped making spare parts. I guess most of the CR devs are only focusing their energy on LB, correct me if I'm wrong.

Better analogy would be, you brought a toyota prius you liked its featured but didn't feel safe as it didn't have airbags, you then went and brought a toyota highlander thats suits you better, but you wanted all the bits and pieces that toyota prius had and said 'TOYOTA Y U NO PUT ALL MY PRIUS STUFF INTO THE NEW TOYOTA HIGHLANDER AND DONT CHARGE ME FOR A BRAND NEW CAR!?!?!!? - just copy + paste (lol) all the stuff in the new toyota!!' when infact the prius bits and pieces would never fit in highlander.


It would be upto the cr devs if they want to offer a discount to the people who brought their routines on hb to lb, so I'd take it up to the people who you brought the CR on hb and see if they will give u a free copy (unlikely) or a discount for the lb of their CR.

I also feel ripped off. I bought 3x life time keys and also bought raid rotations. I bought a bot to level and raid with and also the custom rotations. Now the rotations have updated they want paying again. well thats just bullshit, I now only use HB for leveling, I will never buy a single thing from there store again and for raiding I now use a bot that you pay ONCE for the rotation and its forever updated

Nobody said you had to use Legionbuddy, all your routines will still work with honorbuddy and continue to be updated...

2) If you dont like it, leave. No one is forcing you buy or use it. You're acting like the devs owe you something, they dont.

There was a server side detection of the bot.
If u had HB attached to wow while blizz was running their detection u got suspended. Simple as that.

Well that's debatable; when he purchased HB, as well as paid routines, there was an expectation of continued support. CR's are a large part of the bot, and if they are mostly abandoned in favor of LegionBuddy routines (which is a distinct possibility), that would be a legitimate complaint.

To extend the analogy used in this thread, many higher-end car brands offer free service/maintenance as a perk, which is factored into the initial price of the vehicle. If they removed that suddenly from existing customers, many would rightly feel cheated. Or if Windows said we would keep our current software, but would have to pay to purchase each future update.

We don't know enough (or anything, really) about LegionBuddy to say one way or the other, but the concern raised here is not purely unwarranted entitlement.

Completely new bot, ONLY handles combat routines. Does not handle movement, questing, etc. If you want something to automate things such as leveling, questing, garrison, etc, Legion Buddy is not for you.
