Tripwire would not issue a sid network server error for 10-20 minutes and then display that Tripwire activated, if it were a detection Tripwire would immediately activate, no questions. Tripwire activated as a general precaution until the admins get a chance to delve into why the sid error occurred. Your logic is sound ;).

On the contrary, it's done this the last 2 times the tripwire has activated.
 
So how long does it normally take for an [OFFICIAL] thread to pop up with explanations?
 
Until they have a Answer one would think? I'm sure they are not just seating around playing LOL..
 
Aren't official tripwire threads basically instantaneous usually? Not explaining the matter and resolution, but just an acknowledgement and a "we're working on it"? Strange to have no official remark
