Tested with R6/IK4 . It won't use Boulder Toss with the Raekor Charges. It will just use Boulder toss almost after every furious charge. It won't stack the charges till 5 etc.

It use Boulder toss in two conditions:

1) If you have health below 50% and furry 100+, or if you have less than 90% health and facing Rift Guard.
2) To activate resource spending buff from restraint.

If your bot using boulder toss too often that mean you receiving too much DMG and you need to work with your survivability.
 
Ancient Spear and F/R

One observation I've made while enjoying seeing my barb progress to GR74 is its use of Boulder Toss comes AFTER the previous 50% spender half of F/R wears off.
I'm thinking the bot should prioritize Boulder Toss at the 4sec point to take full advantage of having both buffs, and not just half. I haven't simmed it but assuming it's loosing a ton of damage by letting it fall off before casting.
 
Still working on completing my gear set for this build, but quick question, which follower are people using and are you using occulus ring? I know Occulus Ring is supposed to be a BiS for any follower this season, but I don't see where a Barb is going to be doing much fighting standing still in the bonus area. What follower and follower builds are being used with this?

I retract my previous statement having run some sims, it's not a ton of DPS, but it is there. Using the attached build and skill priorities I tweaked the timing of boulder toss around the 5 second duration of the F/R buff.

Best sim was DPS: 133.013 T when set to 4.8seconds after previous cast, for a 99.86% uptime, thus making sure both FC and AS/BT sides of the F/R buff are active when AS/BT is cast.

Further sims at 0.1sec intervals resulted in a DPS drop off. That drop of reaches 2% at 4.5seconds (Cast too early) and at 5.2 seconds (Cast too late). The DPS drop off increases the further away from 4.8 seconds you get.

If you take a look at http://www.d3planner.com/788527917 you'll see the gear, skills, and priorities used. I took http://ptr.d3planner.com/987309363 from the OP and dropped the paragon and Gems down to closer to my personal short term aspirations (approaching Paragon 800, level 70 legendary gems, level 60 augments).
Also noted the sim on 987309363 as posted isn't set up with a rotation (it spams Furious charge and Battle Rage, never gets down the list to using Ancient Spear, or Sprint as FC is always available). The simmed DPS of 87T with para 2000, lvl 100 gems and lvl 90 augments jumps to 257 Trillion using my priority list.

Hopefully I got the sim right with near 100% uptime on WOTB, Ancients, BattleRage, Sprint, Furious charge half of Focus/Restraint, and Ancient Spear half of Focus/Restraint.

Of note NO PARAGON in Max Fury provides the best DPS because you have 50 more points to put in Strength, but Playstyle wise I know the OP uses health % in the determination of when to cast Ancient Spear, so more fury would equal a bigger spot heal, but less DPS. Going to test this evening, see if my barb stays alive!

END RESULT: If the bot doesn't use ancient spear prematurely to heal for max DPS it should cast AS/BT every 4.8secs (or with 0.2 remaining on spender half of F/R buff) for a 2% DPS increase.

p.s. Don't even think about trying Three Hundredth Spear and/Or Skullar's Salvation. Simmed DPS drops to 7.3Trillion with those.

I prefer Templar for pushing GRs, focus on hard CC items (freeze/stun) that will work with block chance and attacks as these will increase your damage through bane of the trapped and damage reduction through Ancient Parthan Defenders (which is the one requiring hard vs soft CC).

Occulus - BIS because your follower puts it on top of the rift guardian. Rest of the time you may or may not/hopefull/ sooner or later you'll charge through it!
It is best in slot for a reason, barring dumb followers dropping it on some single piece of trash 2 screens behind where you've charged off to the Rift Guardian is the bane of this build.

Amulet: The Ess of Johan (IAS + CDR)
Ring1: Wyrdward (IAS + CDR)
Ring2: Justice Lantern (IAS + CDR + BLOCK)

50 max fury is a lot better than 250 strength. Facing RG at 72+ GR you will need a lot of heal in order to stay alive. 50 furry = around 170k heal, 250 strength at my paragon lvl is 1% dmg. Remember to include in your calculation that death = 0 DPS for atleast 15 sec, and even more with each next death. What about ot cast AS 0.5 sec before restraint buff is off - you have a point, will implement it in future.

Hmm, what i see this routine have a too hard logic for bounty, if we need kill 1 or 2 mobs bot can skip this and go forward, bot can stuck and think what he need to do, on HC this very important. Maybe i am do something wrong?

From what I've seen, some people are getting 150b+ in GRs with barbs. That is with almost perfect gear.

It could be 170+ if not DB/Trinity issues, like ridiculous stucks/navigation problems. I just testing now, increasing gr lvl each day, but i think somthing like gr70 with reflection pools will give better result, will report later.
 
Do you still use exactly the same build/gear as in OP?, if not can you put an ideal d3planner gear?
 
The slider for ancient spear doesn't work. Seems like f&r logic over writes it. It would be a ton more tanky if it would always use ancient spear at max fury.
 
I posted some info which the OP said he is working on relating to Ancient Spear. Couple things to note:

Ancient Spear is not the main DPS source. FC is. This is not a RK6 build. It's IK6/RK4. Overusing AS per my previous post lowers DPS. If it's using every time you get to 100 Fury see below:

Per Keetsune It use Boulder toss in two conditions:

2) To activate resource spending buff from restraint. (I simmed and recommend this becomes a refresh at 4.8sec/5sec duration to optimize DPS when not needing heal. 4.5 too soon, 5.2 too late!)

So if it's not using it you're fine and don't need to be more tanky. If it is using it you aren't tanky enough without it and it won't make you anymore tanky than it currently does. You likely died without the 100 fury or from a 50% to zero blow up on non RG target. Biggest death cause I see is trinity getting stuck or the occasional running out of FC charges cause sh1t happens. (Bot thinks there are 4 to 5 mobs but they are already dead from previous charge...you hit 2 and are SOL.
