Hi,

I've never really been active posting here, even had to re-register as I have no idea what email I used :x

I've played hardcore the whole time, started botting some time in RoS. But I've never really found that much posts / information regarding HC here (yes I've tried searching, but everything I can find is old).

My question is, how high GRs have you botted in HC and with what class/build/gems?
I'm a bit "scared" so I havent really tried to push it, but I did alot of 50 last season with LoN Crusader, and this season I havent tried higher than 45 and that ran fine.
I usually just "stress test" the char myself by pulling a lot of packs and just stand in everything, also trying molten damage etc so I know that I can survive if the bot just stands still or walks in to several affixes.

I guess I could try uping a bit and monitor but it would be cool to hear what others have managed and how they did it :)

Hi guys. I'm new to DB. I tried hc crusader. tried leveling but died 3 times now. He always dies when i turn my back on him! Last season was no problem getting to level 70. Any ideas?

I wouldn't bot HC until Trinity has fixed avoidance. Currently bots are ignorant to avoiding pretty much anything.

You are moving up difficulty too fast. Stay on hardl/expert until level 70.

im atm not botting to mutch lag with more clients while i never lag out without the bot

The way Trinity works now along with ""Patiently waiting for the Navigation Server" popping up from time to time, I NEVER go afk when HC botting.

I run 4 clients with no lag no problem.....just have to sit and watch so no HC death.

Im working on a wizard that is doing level 50's right now with only like 2 peaces of ancient gear Using ( Archon Build w/ Firebird) but i do have 3 gems leveled to 60+ , But my Crusader with Bombardment build ( all ancient gear ) can solo 70's no problem

I ran GR55 fine for about 4 days straight, then the bot must have frozen because i died to one of those fire breathing machines on the hell GR. Trick is to have a "boting" set of gear with really high toughness and then your regular set of gear for when you play. use estoic alteration gem and aquila cuirass. HC is not supported but it is possible to make it work. make sure all your avoidance settings are selected and change range to 30.

yeap, lon bomardment crusader are OP for botting

Yeah I've given up completely with DemonBuddy this season!

I have no idea if Trinity (avoidance) is to blame, and after a few Hardcore deaths I don't care anymore; but both times I took my off the bot for 5-10 seconds and the bot simply died while mobs tickled him him to death.

learn some tips of crusader in hc:
1.abandon Nemesis Bracers, use Sanguinary Vambraces ,you will find trash die soon;if you have enough Life per Hit ,it is perfect。

2.use Stormshield, best Reduces damage from elites

3.passive skill:must use Indestructible,Iron Maiden, Vigilant, other like noamal

4.Legendary Gem:Mutilation Guard, Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard, Boyarsky's Chip

5.use Unity

I agree that crusader is very nice, and safe as mobs will die automatically and the char is quite tanky especially with a shield equipped :)
Havent tried one this season, heard there were some issues with bombardment but that its also been fixed recently?

I ran gizzard, esoteric and chip but I guess mutilation is nice too. I could more or less not even take damage in GR50 so I was very safe.

As many others have said, the key is to have as much survivability as you can in case that the bot just stands still with mobs hitting it or maybe kills a pack and runs in to Horde Molten or something like that.
Remember not ONLY toughness, but also regen that does not require your character to attack.

Gizzard, Esoteric, Mutilation are very nice for defense, but I agree that you want Chip for a thorns crusader.
Unity is a must I would say.

Tanky classes that have some pets can also be nice I guess, a monk with Innas will have good regen and be quite tanky + the pets should probably kill stuff on you eventually.
Barb with perma ancients with the reduction rune was also nice when I ran that. Both barb and monk also have 30% built in damage reduction.
