demonbuddy crashing after fresh install

recently fired up demonbuddy with a fresh install. regardless of bounty, quest or rift, the game will quit entirely. log is attached

wasnt sure what this message was referencing and couldnt find anything about enabling desktop overlay

"Deactivating the overlay because Desktop Composition is disabled which causes a significant drop in FPS while overlay is active. We recommend enabling Desktop Composition because the overlay provides a safe way for Demonbuddy and 3rd party extensions to display in-game notifications and UI elements"

will start nephalem rift but eventually crash after a couple of minutes

it is crashing but about a minute or two into starting the nephalem rift. reviewed the list of software that can be problematic, uninstalled anything that may have been known problematic, reboot, and crashed 3 times in a row. log attached.

just to dot my i's and cross my t's, i ran DB as admin (in case i didnt before), was able to play a little longer until it looked like the player UI was enabled. log attached.

reinstalled demonybuddy and got a whole new list of errors. read the message, couldnt locate the regterm for EnableLog, created it, then got some new errors

hope im not bombarding with log files

updated both trinity and adventurer, game continues to crash

reinstalled DB, dont have any known problematic software, downloaded EZupdater, all plugins are officially up to date, game still crashes.

followed all directions and read through a lot of support forums to try and get this to work to no avail.
