Weird Pathfinding

That's possible scenario that comes to my mind.

1) Routine find mobs too far, uses MoveToward's.
2) It's close enough, want's to use skill but fails, so it's moving away.
3) Go to step 1.

Try to lower the attack distance and see if something will change.

Our problem is described in post #8, your advice will not be able to help!

Thanks for trying to help. Appriciated :)

Though the distance isn't effecting it. Thoroughly tested that already since i had the same idea..

Same problem here, lower attack distance not help. Problem only with BOW bots

Similar problems.

Bot1 - uses alcor plugin with blink arrow. Stutter back and forth problem persists. (BOW skill)
Bot2 - Uses only quicksilver flasks. Problem persists. (BOW skill)
Other 2 bots - uses alcor plugin with whirling blades. No problem whatsoever. (CASTER RANGED)

Just tested with a groundslam marauder and a dual totem build. Each work fine with 15 fps.
The rangers/bowers (shrapnel or LA build) still have the issue occuring.

Before this average map runtime: 3 minutes
Now: 7 minutes

Sh! Not prevent them to dream of profits! They want that GGG banned all accounts with this problem, and all accounts relating to trade with them, it very well will affect the sales of the bot:D

From what I've seen talking to a user who had this issue, it quite literally looks like the game client is breaking for Rangers only under low FPS. It makes no sense, but I spent quite a bit of time with a user trying to replicate it on a non-ranger and could not.

See if you guys can turn up the FPS if you're in a VM and see if that helps.

I'll try to replicate it on my ranger (although had no such issues so far as I posted in a thread before we went down), but from what I've seen from someone who has this issue on his ranger, he tells me his other characters are perfectly fine, and the issue goes away at 40+ fps for the ranger.

This means it's highly unlikely a logic issue, but rather a game breaking issue that we cannot fix or work around.

I was also told the issue didn't happen before one of the several game updates that took place after we were down. This points towards something changing in the client, as all the major bot changes were already in place from the post-xpac update.

We're not going to give up on trying to figure out the issue, but all things are pointing towards a new client issue as opposed to something breaking and going unnoticed, as once again, it seems to only affect Rangers, and EB has no class specific logic in place.

This problem is only on my weak computer, the second does not have this problem! I had to temporarily use the goods of a competitor, and I had no problems even on old computer! If the bot is in conflict between two tasks, it is a problem of the program that cannot set the priority! Before a global update of the bot, I didn't have this problem! I think I have it starts when the bot can not lift the object. The subject on the map does not correspond to the true location, the bot sometimes sync this problem, but makes it very rare!

Our setup with Exilebuddy is indeed a much more 'heavy' setup than anything else, but it's always been that way. In order to provide the large API like we do, and support the precise interactions on any resolution, without taking PC control, there's some overhead that is introduced into the client.

This overhead has been reduced quite a bit this expansion, and improvements are always being looked into, but users also need to be aware that as the game updates and continues to grow, the resources required also goes up. I mean, it's no secret the PoE client itself has always had issues that stand out more with the bot. It's possible as part of the Performance Improvements, client changes are being done that are causing more issues on weaker PCs with our setup, but there's nothing to change in that regards.

Low FPS setups have never been officially supported (although we try to do our best to help users where possible if we can) and there's a certain threshold of PC resources required to bot using Exilebuddy. Unfortunately, we can't cater to all hardware, so if you have machines that don't work correctly because of that, but your more powerful rigs work fine, then I'm afraid what we offer won't be the best choice for you for those setups.

You can do the sync more often? (above, I described my thoughts on the problems) this will help and powerful computers to use a bot even better, and adds security when used on old computers, please Consider this opportunity!

This problem i didnt notice it before you fixed that pathfinding issue few days ago...If it was game related it would affect all the other builds. Why only rangers and only when there are no mobs to kill close to it.I dont know what you did but it was fine on day 1-2 of the release after the big update. My pc is strong and i never encountered that problem before. The guy who you tested with has even more powerfull pc than mine...

I also think that the problem is not our PC, the bot can't choose which of two (or more) tasks to perform, the stupid logic of the bot can not use priorities!

When this problem starts, there is no mobs around, the character does not use skills at this time the game has normal fps!

I have same problem on 2 computers without VM as like on VMs
on Core2Duo with 8GB ram and ssd + 256 video card
so this is not low FPS problem
this is BOW problem with any PC
i think this will be problem even with my hi end i7 PC if i run
