It means that if you're banned while botting multiples account on the same MAC/IP simultaneously, all your accounts will be banned too. That's all and it seems pretty logic, for me anyway.

It's all active accounts (currently logged on) when the ban happens get banned.

If your main is logged off it wont be touched.
With the exception of having a commercial gold farming set up.

so on the subject of an IP ban i have been botting for year and up to the detection never had any problems and when the ban wave happened my 3 bot accounts got hit and my main account was fine all 4 accounts ran on the same computer same IP so the IP ban thing is out the window

as for all of this proxy, VM or what ever i am sorry i can not see how that would help you not get banned i dont know much about all of that crap as i dont us it yes i have used a proxy before but that was only to get around a fire wall on the work computer so that i could get on sites that were blocked by the company server but i am sure that blizz gives zero f*cks what your IP address is or your Mac id weather you are using your IP address or one other the thousands of flagged public ones (i am sure that is safe lol) there are a few people on here that have the tinfoil hat on a little too tight that think that they can do all of this crap to hide what they are doing but i am sorry to say i am sure that blizz pays alot of people to figure crap like this out and i am sure that if you thought about it they have too my advice listen to the HB team when they say boting is not safe they do everything they can to make it as safe as possible but as we have all seen with the 2 ban waves last year that they are not perfect and if you bot your account is not safe there are 2 types of botter ones that have been banned and was that just have not got banned yet me have have been caught and i still bot running 2 right now while i type this but i know they risks that i take i am not going to go through a ton of trouble trying to change my IP or mac id when i know that it dont work

- Ban report section of the past
- People claiming "i'm uber safe with vpn xyz"....and got banned weeks later (even outside us!)

The list is a little bit paranoid, at least ofc the MAC will be changed. Its already done on my config will i'm boting on my bot account.

Why? What is the measure for drawing a line?
Several people already told you now, that only chaning MAC/IP is NOT sufficient.
As long as you don't get any information from a blizz employee stating "we only scan ip/mac" we have to consider any identifier as unsafe and therefore we need to change it.
Or what is your logic here?

I can only repeat myself... there have already been other people that did the exact same thing as you, only changed ip/mac or used a vm and still got banned. Both on bot and main account! Why that?
