It's not legal for them to simply scan your computer to see what you're doing, that's a breach of privacy. If this was something game devs could do we'd have all been banned a long time ago.

I would not put anything past them. We are talking about Activision after all. How would you know anyway, unless you were running some kind of data-logger or dumping all of your tcp/ip data to disk and then analyzing it all.

You are letting your ignorance of how these things work fuel your paranoia my friend. Have more faith in people. Millions of people play Blizzard games. If they actually did what you say it would incite a PR nightmare for the company and shareholders would start calling for managerial resignations.

Like Fisher67 said, its not worth the risk to be scanning the process list and getting caught. An ungodly amount of lawyers would be chomping at the bit to lead the class action suit.

Blizzard scans the D3 game.exe and all processes in MEMORY that runs parallel to it.
Mr. Gumby take it easy and relax, the Devs have all in hand.
What goes on in the memory at any time is literally nothing most of us can relate to, and Blizzard does not TeamView your computer. Well, if you don't have your Tin Hat on they might! :/
