ok i like this plugin alot and now after some problems that has been solved i only have 1 left, it is when a rift is done, the follower takes tp and when the leader almost done casting his tp the follower jumps back down to rift. so it aint big problem just a minor time waste.

doeas any1 have a solution for this?

Oh ye kind of forgot to mention this since it's a given usually for me but I'm running the SVN version and not the one on the forum, it might be possible to put just the changes I made into the forum version as well but I'm not gonna bother testing that.

So this is fixing the follower combat issues that people have been experiencing?

Is this being added to the SVN?

It just makes the crusader spam steed when it gets out of range of the leader, added some conditionals to not make it cast it when it's trying to TP since it kept doing some weird shit otherwise. But it's not a good fix for general useage but it sure makes the crusader work as it should.

Ah okay... Thanks for the explanation Wrathe!

I am just running a 4man group [AutoFollow] and can't seem to replicate any of the results posted in this thread:
https://www.thebuddyforum.com/demon...-setup-4-grift-80-realistic-200-exp-hour.html

They are using SimpleFollow.

The main difference from everyone's description is followers' attacking is better with SimpleFollow. OFC that the plugin is not supported, and some of the files in that thread were broken by 454, so they were using 453. Now that we have another TripWire, I can only imagine if a new version of DB is going to break it further before I can try it.

Can anyone who is multi-botting that has tested both attest to the follower combat being better in SimpleFollow?

I have seen xzjv's response earlier in relation to follower combat, so I assume this is a know issue?

I have been running simplefollow with the latest DB/Trinity builds for a long time, with the edits to the few files that are mentioned on page 1 in that link. I run 3man Wiz/globe barb/globe monk with pretty great gear, but can consistently run GR84-86s @ 240B/hr. I was using AutoFollow but there are significant reliability issues. Every morning i would wake up to naked chars and disconnects.

Just fired this up and it seems to work ok.

just doing regular rifts.

only issue is the follower isn't sharing loot. how do I enable that? loot list is just set to always stash ancient for both characters while I test this.
Also, is there a follower routine that doesnt fight? i'd rather have it just follow and pick up loot in regular rifts, my main can do the work just fine.

at least one of my followers will always go in and out of the portals repeatedly and get stuck there for the duration of the rift. log as shown:

[AutoFollow.Coroutines][<FollowLeaderThroughPortal>d__33] Leader appears to have used this portal here: 'X1_OpenWorld_Tiered_Rifts_Portal-40209' Dist=3.159765. Following.
[AutoFollow.Coroutines][<UseNearbyPortalWhenIdle>d__3a] Lets use this nearby portal, what could go wrong? Id=g_Portal_ArchTall_Blue-40442 Distance=8.957282
[AutoFollow.Coroutines][<FollowLeaderThroughPortal>d__33] Leader appears to have used this portal here: 'X1_OpenWorld_Tiered_Rifts_Portal-40607' Dist=3.159754. Following.
[AutoFollow.Coroutines][<UseNearbyPortalWhenIdle>d__3a] Lets use this nearby portal, what could go wrong? Id=g_Portal_ArchTall_Blue-40816 Distance=7.694893
[AutoFollow.Coroutines][<FollowLeaderThroughPortal>d__33] Leader appears to have used this portal here: 'X1_OpenWorld_Tiered_Rifts_Portal-40984' Dist=0.24823. Following.

the above log will repeat itself inifitely. doesnt matter if my leader is slow or not, it does the same thing. anyone can solve this please?

not sure about the naked chars and dcs as ive been using yar so it would reconnect etc in those cases. much to my dismay autofollow does perform worse though, not really sure why i dont believe ooc casting of movement abilities would make that big of a difference. i think the real issue is that somehow autofollow puts the chars into a movement non attacking state even though they are together with the group at times. i notice this particularly on my lon sader since it missing bombardments on phys coe buff is very obvious.

i really hope that xzvj gets this working at a level equal to or better than simplefollow as it already surpasses it in connectivity, and not being deeply tied to questtools.

Sooo... I was maxing out in AutoFollow with 454 stable build at about GRift 70.

Downloaded the latest 4person DB folder posted in the thread I linked earlier... I was immediately doing 80s with several minutes left over.

I am not sure why SimpleFollow is giving me such better DPS and clear times, but it's happening. There were also Trinity improvements since the last build I was using so that could have a lot to do with it as well.

It may be partly settings related, if the catch-up distance is too small it will be turning off combat until it's close. ~80 i would think is a good number. Enough to kick the bot close to the leader when he falls behind but a long enough leash that they can kite/avoid or fight at the range they need to.

But its probably the movement to get into follow distance.

The long explanation being that currently movement is done differently. Normally (most of trinity/adventurer/simple-follow) they send a movement instruction then allow all other code/plugins to run which gives that code an opportunity to interrupt it. AF movement loops within itself so that nothing can interrupt it, but it allows some circumstances to stop its movement.

I could be wrong about the cause but i have a fix in mind, which is to stop the 'move to be within the follow distance' movement, if combat routine has targeted a unit and the bot is currently inside the catch up range.

I don't have chars that are doing 70+ so can someone give this a test for me.

My friend run Ros-bot and I run DB, can I use DB with AutoFollow to work with my friend?

can any1 help me to increase the wait time for follower using tp in nephalem after rift boss is done, cause when follower goes to town the leader thinks it is a normal townrun and waits untill follower is done before he tp out to town, just waste of time but not big problem.

ty in before hand

Recasting buffs after death. I notice the follower does not always recast Ice Armor or other such buffs after death....but the leader does. Does anybody else experience something like this? I have had this issue for a while so it finally clicked this may be an an AutoFollow issue, not Trinity? Thanks.

can we have change log for .14 version?

  • Added setting to not display any character names in logging.
  • PowerLevel profile will now accept invites properly.
  • Bots will fight instead of walking to leader when within Catchup Radius if routine wants to fight.
  • Temporarily disabled scanning the names of players in party lobby to see if leader is present.
  • Fix for exception entering numbers into settings slider text box.
