Hi all fellow DBers!

Would like to gather your expertise on multiple bot running.

Have been running solos on my bot and am thinking of getting another account to make a 2 man set up. Would like to know if it's any significant, compared to the current solo bot set ups available. currently running 80s with LoN bombsader @ at about 150b/h.

if so, please kindly share your set up. thank you!:D

Running multiple bots will always yield better results unless they change the multiplayer bonuses.

Here is the easiest way to look at how monster health is scaling in multiplayer.

In short, When you add another player, the monster health does not increase 100%, more like 50%.

This opens up the window for you to scale your DPS greatly in comparison to monster health. It also can be advantageous to add zero-DPS characters that provide buffs, de-buffs and crowd control while your DPS character(s) can focus on maximizing damage output.

One thing you see much discussion about in all D3 forums is the crazy combination of 3 ZDPS characters and 1 Wizard.

If you're going to multibot and your PC can handle it, you might as well run 3 or 4 accounts. After the second one, you're already doing most of the work anyways.

thanks for the informative post. however doesnt it seem like a 100% increase in monster health from solo to 2 player? probably not trying 3 or 4 accts at the moment due to supportability issues.

any players have reasonable success with 2 man?? please share.

I have had a lot of success with a 2-man.

When I went to 3 licenses, I just ran 2 for a long time until they were both geared (this was a mistake, would have been faster to gear all accounts at once).

The options are a little more limited with 2 accounts than 4, so I would run 2 DPS characters (no ZDPS), but you need to keep in mind survive-ability when you do this.

In a 3 man you can add a ZDPS character to keep everyone alive then do 2 DPS focused characters. This is where it really starts to be apparent that you're smashing through GRifts way past your gearing level.

To explain the image a little better, it's technically comparing 2.3 to 2.4 in terms of monster damage.

The entire chart is based on monster health in 2.3 (Blue Bars):
1 player: Monsters at 100% normal monster health.
2 player: Monsters at 150% normal
3 Player: Monsters at 200%
4 player: Monsters at 250%

Let's say that there is a monster that had 10,000 health during patch 2.3:

HP in 2.3
HP in 2.4

1 player
10,000
~7,000

2 player
15,000
~12,000

3 player
20,000
~18,000

4 player
25,000
~25,000

Conclusion: they have scaled the monster HP to be spread more evenly in 2.4.

Yes, that mean's there is less advantage to having more bots when compared to solo monster health.

What it doesn't account for is the build synergies, crowd control, buffs, de-buffs.

I'm running 2 bots at the same time, can someone recommend which class/build to use for each for grifts. Currently i'm thinking about getting two more accounts but still hesitant

I am interested in this as well.
Can someone recommend what class of two would be perfect to run G-rift?
I am thinking of a Crusader and a Wizard. They are both strong solo but together might be even better.
If you agree, which one should be a leader?
What follower program is working for 2.4?
Thanks

you aways make the slower one the leader so the other one can aways catch up
