Do they ban by subnets?

I'm using a vpn right. I always connect to the same ip address 218.104.x.x

Now if your running 5 bots on the same ip, you'd get banned.

But i'm unsure if running all 5 bots on the same subnet would get you banned too?

Like would they ban all of 218.104.*.* and everything within that range of numbers?

I'm currently getting hammered again (was able to coast for 2 weeks without ban) and I'm not sure whats causing it. I'm getting hit a day later, then 2 days later the rest fall.

accounts verfied, I clear my cookies before i enter the poe site to create account (use a diffrent ip address but on the same subnet as 218.104.x.x), new mac address (randomly generate option on vm player), new email.

The only thing that i can see is after my first ban, i remember I started being lazy and putting them all on the same subnet to make it easier on me, thinking i solved the ban issue. I don't see how they would ban the same sub net when it could be a university, or a gaming cafe? why would they? But I've did everything else (besides a new client download, or vm reinstall) and the banning by the same subnet is the only thing i can think of right now?

it's possible that they may check other accounts with the same subnet. If they seem fishy they ban you. It's really easy . Checking for subnet , find 5 other accounts , same date of creation, check/ban them all. OR Check for subnet find 100 other accounts with different create date, and play times, forget about it. (university/internet cafe scenario)

thats a good point man

90% chances they do. The other 10% are pure luck haha

I dont think they do ban subnets. In your case it might have been like your vpn connection dropped and you once accidently connected via you home IP.
Do you use anything to block your home IP? Or to force PoE to only use VPN connection and if its lost, disconnect or block all other traffic?

yeah i bot 24/7, but i ran 2 weeks straight before i got hit before, now I'm getting hit alot more. I'm not using anything to protect me from my home ip, because my vpn service has a "kill switch", i assumed thats good enough right? Or do vpn's kill switches usually garbage?

also i got a ip address thats stuck (doesn't change) so I gotta call my provider and yell at the assholes for giving me that shit. But, that being said, shouldn't my kill switch protect me even tho i disconnect? Also my vpn is very stable, or it lies to me and says its been on for a long time? Maybe it drops me for a micro second and doesn't tell me?
