Crusader-wise I am by no means an expert, but I would like to re-elaborate your list into the following, since (I personally felt) it needed a little fixing:


  1. Hellfire Amulet - thorns (9500), physical, cdr, str
  2. Lidless Wall - physical, thorns (9500), cdr, str, vit
  3. Belt of the trove - thorns (9500), str, vit, all res, life%, (optional: 6 sec bombardments; the reason for this being that a well-rolled belt sitting at 8 seconds is still better than a poorly-rolled one with 6 seconds)
  4. Heart of Iron - +bombardment, thorns (9500), str, vit, close to 300% vit to thorns bonus.
  5. Hexing Pants - sockets, str, vit, all res, thorns
  6. Doombringer - physical, cdr, ad, str, vit (for GR pushing) - add a socket to place your topaz (+38,000 thorns); as stated, re-roll DPS for any of the necessary stats, weapon damage does not contribute to this build's damage, which is solely based on thorns and multipliers.
  7. Swiftmount - cdr, ad, str, vit (for speed runs) - same as above
  8. Sun Keeper - cdr, +30% elite dmg, str, ad, vit. (for GR pushing) - same as above
  9. Skeleton King (or any ancient) shoulders - +bombardment, thorns (9500), cdr, str, ad, all res, vit
  10. Nemesis Bracers - physical, str, vit, all res, thorns
  11. Legacy Rings - socket, cdr, str, ad, vit/life%, thorns
  12. Leo Crown - socket, str, vit, all res/life%, thorns
  13. Illusory Boots - str, vit, all res, LPS, thorns
  14. St. Archew's Gage or any gloves with decent stats - str, vit, cdr, ad, thorns (those impact our survivability by a wide margin and are not that hard to get)

What I did is basically dish off armor from belt and boots in favour of more desirable stats (we're already packed with armor, so diminishing returns affect us more than they would, say, an int-based class). Further, Leoric's Crown cannot roll +Bombardment damage, hence our best bet is to stick to all res > life %. I also did some minor edit including weapon variety and a couple other stats which didn't stress enough how much a LoN Bombardment Crusader needs to stay at least above 61.5% cdr in order to be able to use Bombardment on every Physical cicle (that's without lag/CPU stuttering, so I'd still stick to at least a couple % more - I'm personally sitting at 67%ish myself, since it also boosts survivability).

And another thing: Since the last trinity or something, crusader dont use steed charge OOC all the time...sometimes he uses it...mostly not :o

Thats true, but if you take 8CDR on neck you can make 61.5% CDR without Fever allowing you another passive such as Long Arm of the Law.

Now is casting Hope on CD (witch is good) but if you are mounted you lose all charge duration and have to wait for the CD.

I second this, all laws/passives should be supported. I'm running a 4man Crusader group so i use different Laws/Passives and they do seem to cancel Steed Charge.

Suddenly I am experiencing a problem with my LoN bomb Crusader. He won't use Steed Charge anymore -.-
Did try both DB versions (BETA and the official one) and several Trinity version including the SVN one. The setup is the same but I will always get this message:

Try this: go to Trinity/Combat/Abilities and open CrusaderCombat.cs with your preferred text editor. Press ctrl+F and search for

Change that 2500 to whatever value you want too. This is the 'start' timer, so 2500 here means it'll be greenlit 2500 milliseconds before the Physical phase starts. Note that you shouldn't set that value to something smaller than zero.

There's a few things you can try, like Jubisman mentioned you can change the Physical milliseconds (which I've done) or you can set up a few checks:

I'm not sure if shieldglare is dynamic like coe or not
