Diablo update in 55min - Safe?

Should we wait for another bot update before trying to use DB again after the D3 update in 55min that is announcing ingame atm ?

mmm. no announcment on battle.net client(at least for me). Strange
 
I just got a system message in game about this, I would recommend that you hold off from using the bot after the update, you never know if they are updating warden along with the game.
 
Check say, I love this extreme. So at least in DotA will start to play normally :)
 
Demonbuddy will turn off if it detects a battlenet bot detector after the update right?

There is no doubt that Blizz monitors this public forum.
And they know that RosBot is working hard on an updated bot and that DB had theres up in a matter of hours.
So there is a little server side update it appears to do some nefarious thing to attempt to nail us all.
Daddy is again telling us to not go outside and play.
"Stay inside and play my way or the highway son!"
 
It's just their main website that gets an update, not the game itself lol :P

I think lol.

just spent an hour last night setting my bots up, pricks blizzard. d3 isnt for legit players!

yes im that arrogant.
 
no its in game too. have the same message. Server restarting for updates in 28 min.
 
They gave no warning for the previous patch that triggered Twipwire. Seems odd this time they're telling people.

I predict it's a simple customer service patch or something to fix an issue from yesterday (possible exploit?)

But, I have to go to work so I'll let you guys test it for me :)
 
The message states that the server is restarting for updates. I read the subject to be the server, they never change the subject. So maybe they are making updates to their server for stability and have no intention for patching the client. Did anyone download any client side updates as prepatch?

How would anyone but Blizz know until the actual update occurs?

If the version of the game changed, you won't be able to log in. If there was no change, and you don't get a tripwire notification, you should be good to go.
 
Nothing happened like I said. I was still in my game while the server restart was occurring. Never got kicked out.
