[Guide] LoN Crusader Speed [~2min TX/Bounty] [455% MS]

Hey, since I've also jumped on the crusader hype train recently after my DH,
I decided why not share some of the knowledge I gained playing the class and applying the experience from playing other classes so far into this season.

PART I, THE BUILD
So, obviously the guide relies on the LoN set of rings and the item synergy around it:

With this set-up we have several things and abilities:
  • 1 shot every elite pack
  • Insane movement speed, up to 455% allows us to reach pylons in 10-30s
  • 100% uptime on all skills

You can switch up the following gear pieces if you lack them exactly:
  • Gloves
  • Shoulders - use Homing Pads for bounties
  • Chest for Aquila, if you find yourself dying, ever(not possible with this build)
  • Shield
  • Boots(not recommended)
  • Neck
  • Switch weapons around for the cubed one
..as long as they are ancient.

Items don't have to be perfect, you can get away with 1-2 pieces being non-ancient, and at least having thorns on the pieces that range up to 9500.

PART II, THE SETTINGS
First of all you want to configure your trinity to these settings:

My experience and gold timeout in "Advanced" tab are set to 80s, cause this build is so fast, it can sometimes bug the heck out :D

edit: Not anymore needed with the latest trinity, since now you can just drag the Laws of Hope slider to 100% health in the crusader combat settings tab.

The last, but not least part on how to make bot keep perma Laws of Hope up:

Navigate to your Demonbuddy\Settings\Battletag#1337 and edit the Trinity.xml so it looks like this:

If you have issues with Steed Charge not being used during bounties, then go to your Adventurer settings and turn "Safe Zerg Mode" off.
Afterwards change the "Ignore trash further away than:" to 0 in your Combat-Misc Trinity tab.

Congratulations, now you're the fastest ponyboy in town :cool:

Thanks for sharing. "9" trash looks low for me, but its just personal (going with 15)
I need that gloves :)

Cheers. Those are actually almost the same settings I run grs with, except for ignore minions on and avoidance turned on only for arcane, molten and grotesque.
9 is still high enough to skip like 90% of the trash, unless it really has op value. Besides, having permanent bombardment doesn't hurt to throw it here and there.
Gloves of worship only work for bounties, since the shrines are what is located in the "open world". They are not really needed "needed", but very nice to have for bounties :)

Also, having bombardment slider set to 1 is needed to kill goblins and single target bosses in bounties, otherwise it won't cast it.
It will still only use it on elites/bosspacks inside the rift, so don't worry.

Yeah but that gloves still better than useless shield :) Only problem is never botted bounties, coz its not efficient for me.

I feel you. Personally, I don't have the urge to run the bot efficiently all the time, because I test a lot of different stuff with new trinity/adventurer revisions and what not.
Bounties are by far the most inefficient thing you can do, but it's only done when your charcter really needs it. Same goes for Hellfire farming process :)
 
For some reason while i applied all the settings, my crusader is not autoattacking mobs randomly and not spamming steed charge :S

Yes, exactly the same i'm using :S
This seems to only be happening when bombardment and consecration are on CD (I say seems because right as they come off CD the bot uses the skills and the mobs die) and also only with elites (blues, yellows, rift guardians, goblins)

Anyways, still going faster than my previous setup

I might have misunderstood you, possibly. These settings are set to only hunt for shrines/elites/bosses/goblins mainly and skip 95% of trash unless there are at least 9mobs in a 15yards circle radius, which almost never happens and is worth going for, when it does.
If that's not it, then the issues might be with your pc not being able to process the targets fast enough, or something related to that. Can't be sure.
 
Also didnt take into account i dont have the shrine bracers, so i'm encountering fewer elites sometimes and this could cause the issues maybe
upped the trash count to 15 and seems to be a little better for me
 
@Solenrus which GRifts you farming and all Ancient etc. currently I try to find a replacement for my Mage, since I want some different things. Currently LoN and Flashfire seems viable for speed runs, LoN way faster it feels.

standart lon bombardment it is, http://www.d3planner.com/948884792 perfect rolls and items preset I'm following(not my current rolls, obviously), swap bane of powerful for stricken if you go like 75+, depends. Also swap consecration for one of the Laws if you need toughness. Missing thorns on your gear is fine. Prioritize upgrading the pieces that can roll up to 9500 thorns dmg first and follow in that direction.

Nemesis bracers are the must have, it will speed up the clears by 100% at least, it's a core item. I suggest you at least using it in cube if you have no other way getting it.
Upping your trash mob pack size will make it stop for trash mobs less, at this point, 15, it wont stop ever.

My avoidance is turned off, you can see it on the 1st picture in the bottom, where only "attack mobs in aoe" is turned on.
If you mean my avoidance for GRs, then its 30 radius and 100% health on arcane, molten, grotesque, rest is set 0 on both
 
How Important is CDR compared to the rest? (On Starter Gear and Final)
