Allright. I wanted to bring to community some hints about botting...

Had 2 accounts banned on the same IP. Back then more than a year ago. Made an other account on the same IP.
Legit grinded to 70 or so whatever. Started to bot 8-10 hours docks till like 86 with good weapon.
Then switched to dried lake. Still 8-10 hours.
For a good 3 week back to back never stopped my 8-10 hours daily botting routine.
Then thought allright. Them assholes are ok with it. Did like a 25-30 hours streak and bam.
I know they mostly ban us with triggers. My bot was never chickening, and dried lake runs were like 7 mins each so far from being close to an instance trigger...
Never sold any curency on that account. Always traded in small-fair legit-like amounts against something. No D2JSP.

My guess would be they either screen hard new accounts, or there is log-in time trigger for new accounts or something like that.
Maybe a too much of the same instance trigger for new accounts in one day.

Moral of the story. Don't bot more than 10 hours to be safe and wait a good 6 months like most people do. And I would add once it reaches 6 months old, leave account in the closet for a year and let it become "clean".
A lot of people with old accounts were botting 24/7 for a huge period without being banned. Of course when you are flagged you basically have a step in the jail.

Keep it safe and keep the D2-like botting dream alive lol

Forgot to mention, my objective with that account was to see how long could it last with botting in the first weeks and some intense botting sessions.
Maybe they indeed have a trigger to play routine changes like in my case I went from 10 to 25 hours. We never know and every time I try to beg or act like an innocent victim to claim the account back,
they always tell me the same story. They have blatant proofs and they cannot tell me what rule was broken.

It's all about moderation guys.

when you bot on same ip on more then 1 acc account you will always get banned, no matter how long you bot , 1 hour or 24 hours!:(

It was not my case. I bet you did not understand my situation. I HAD 2 banned accounts. I did not mention that I was botting 2 accounts.
Even though your reply is not related, you are still right.

Humans cant go that long without eating drinking sleeping work school and so that's why you got banned....you did fine for the first few weeks and then you acted like a bot derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Why cant you ppl use the bot as a tool to help you in the game instead of being greedy and I just don't mean this account I mean on every account.to every bot user out there...

you still had a good streak :). but probably you were flagged before starting 24/7 botting.

Botting 8 - 10 hours in one zone would probably flag anyone, a normal person wouldn't do this, or if they did they would at least go take a shit and have something to eat etc.

heh so you lost 1 one account which you had character on but you didnt play/bot on it for long time? - or there were no charcaters . and the otehr accoutn you botted on , bad mistake - you needed to use both , and 24 /7 so you wouldnot regret!:D

What ?

25-30h lake farming. . .
That was a bad idea ;/

Yep just figured it out. But I am not that mad... At least you guys can read this and be warned.
At first my goal was only to last the longest I could. But then they revealed us something new.

I just lost a fight but not the war!

I mean a VPN doesnt cost a lot, if you RMT it can be made up in a week. If you had a bot on an IP that was banned, even if it was a year ago, GGG probably has that IP in a flagged vault of IP's. I dont have any issues running around 16-18hours / day, but with intermissions of trading/globalchatting. When I played new hardcore leagues I had around 16-18 hours / day self-play until I got bored around lvl 90. Then again, I might be pushing it if I do it for too long. The best tip I think is to do only what a human could do, and there are some serious nerds out there (like myself) that plays 16h / day for weeks.

No news, everyone is supposed to be logical and know this.

Such a revelant comment

The guy above you (DontBeAfraid) maybe did not know about flagged IP or maybe other things mentionned in the thread.
Before posting in people's threads, make sure to bring something that contributes significantly to the discussion. I hope you did not reach 2800 posts with that kind of help ;)

Well, PoE Botting is another world, people learn from their mistakes. There's no real science about safe botting.

Flags are common in all games, that's why there's banwaves. Just that GGG have a different approach like currency flags or IP blacklist.
If you want to bot you've to hide yourself as much as possible, and it's not rocket science.

There's shit ton of posts like that on this board, people are just lazy to find out.
I'm not really here to please you. I've probably contributed way more than you on this subject.

Anyway :)

you actually should blame the guy above (me), since my comment was such a revelant comment and tonyx actually just jumped on my train. unasked even :P

anyways, didnt mean to start another trollthread.
make each account unique and different from your others is absolutely basic knowledge in every game. that involves a couple of things, obviously including IPs.
