that just joins a random type of public game, not specifly a "bounty public game" which you would wanna join, also havent figured out how to do that

would be nice if someone could tell us

There use too be public bounty Edit profiles for adv but i cant seam to find them if you look really hard you might find them

also I have tested what i posted earlier and it works

Go in to adv profiles and open bounties.xml

Change the 4th line

<GameParams act="OpenWorld" resumeFromSave="False" isPrivate="True" numGames="-1" />

to
<GameParams act="OpenWorld" searchForPublicGame="True" />

^ this should search for public and this one should just make the game public have not tested.

what i am trying to explain to you, ive already read https://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonb...ml#post2082909 this thread, long before this one here got opened

i have also implied all suggested changed, i have tried both, the profile posted by neosox and the current adventurer bounty profile with

"SearchforPublicGame=True" , i have even tried "isPrivate=true" , but both of those work incorrectly (dont do exactly what i want)
the issue with searchforpublicgame is , if you enable that one, you will get EITHER into a bounty game OR!!! into a Rifting public game, there are 500average bounty games open, and about 3000rifting games, you get a rifting game 4/5 times
there is noway to tell him what kind of game you want


meaning your bot starts running bounties while others do rifts and notice u are a fucking bot

the issue with isPrivate is, that he wont join a already existing public game, but he will creat his own one, and most of the times finishes the first act (so nobody will ever join) before the party is full or even the first guy shows up. so that sucks too

ive even tried "resumefromsave=true" but even this didnt work, he just didnt resume from save but created his own game

so im asking for some dev or somebody else who knows, how to tell the bot what KIND OF public game to join, because without that feature, you dont have to even have the option to join public games at all (the old, "unofficial" method did join the type of public game you wanted)

anyways i all i wanted to say is, ive tried what u suggested and it doesnt work, if u dont believe me, please try it yourself and pay attention to the types of games he joins with "searchforpublicgame", maybe the first one will be bountied but atleast 1/3 if not 2/3 will be rifts

Not meaning to necro an older thread but I completely agree that we need a public bounty profile. There actually used to be one on the site that included an updated Trinity which modified it so it only joined public bounty games and also declined all events that weren't initiated by yourself.

For people saying that this is a quick way to get banned I disagree unless you're trying to do this undergeared. My wizard and barb 1 shot everything and are practically invincible - they do bounties much quicker than most of the noobs or leechers in the games currently. The only downside is that the old profile didnt check for other players in the area but that happens quite often in normal public games as well. They might bitch at you but if you're one shotting elites and quick it's really not that big of an issue. Often times they will just go to a different area anyhow.

all you have to do is copy this in your profile <GameParams act="OpenWorld" searchForPublicGame="True" /> in any profile you use you put that in and it wil join a public one remove this one <GameParams act="OpenWorld" resumeFromSave="False" isPrivate="True" numGames="-1" /> with this <GameParams act="OpenWorld" searchForPublicGame="True" /> in any profile you use and it wil join public
