If you provide a log of the town run, it should give us the answer, it logs a lot of detail.
I just saw Trinity salvaging an item clearly selected in my list to keep, why is this happening?

Well if you have the always keep ancient they it should of kept it.
I did notice that the Follower item are on the item list and probably need to selected. But you have the always keep ancient on so it should also be.
Will look at log later tonight when I get home if xzjv does not first
