[Discontinued] [Plugin] Quest Plugin 2.0

There are 2 type of quest modes in the Quest Plugin. You can only select one at a time. You can either have it do the main progression line (which does not include tidal island, thats a side quest). The main progression line will do only the quests needed to advance you through the zone.

The newer option that has been recently added is to do the side quests. It still wont do every side quest, but it does all the +skillpoint quests, and tidal island.

So for simplicity:

1. Clear act 1 main progression (let the bot run til act 2)
2. After the bot reaches act 2, stop the bot.
3. Manually put yourself back in act 1.
4. Uncheck Act 1 questing. Enable the act 1 side quests.
5. Let it do all the side quests in act 1
6. Stop bot when all act 1 side quests are done (it will stop itself after its done also)
7. Manually put yourself back in act 2, uncheck all the act 1 stuff, check the act 2 main quest (but not the side quests).

Thats if you want to do all the side quests as you move through the story lines.

The other option you have is to just enable act 1,2,3,4 main quest lines and never touch the bot til all 4 acts are complete. Then you can go back and do all the side quests with the bot.

I'm sending devs a test version soon that will stop all this confusion. IDK if I'll release it because, someone will be like, It's doing all the quests, how do I tell it to do just the main quest. then I be like, Face Palm, Slit wrist.

Why put the work in it and not release it? Just put a note somewhere in the plugin that tells the user if it's that common similar to how I see "You must have a move skill equipped in a slot other than left click". This kept me from having to come here and read on why I am not moving.

Because frankly, most users are ignorant. They want this to work, and will not put the effort or time in to reading why something doesn't work. The people who actually do read(forums and debug outputs) Will never post because they know why something doesn't work from them using their brains. I see no reason to give myself more work.

That's why you'd make a single post on a common issue and just direct them there. An even easier way is to do what I mentioned in my last post by telling the user in the program itself. Beyond these there's not much one can do on basic questions. Either a person will learn after getting told once or they won't and you'll quickly learn who to eventually give up on helping.

I Do tell the users in the program itself.. numerous times. Does anyone read? Nope, user posts a half ass log and says halp.
I'm not going to repeat myself on every, single, question. I rather be using my time for other things, like real bugs/improvements.

Edit I miss-read the first portion of your reply. Even if I posted on the first page of this thread. They will still post on the most common issue that has been explained. Why do you think some posts go unanswered? Because it has been answered elsewhere.

I see. It's a shame the few that have legit questions and try to solve it themselves suffer for it. Hopefully you're able to release update content on the quest plugin in the future as that's the main reason I use EB.

I've tried to make things "user friendly" as possible, at the end of the day, it gets in the way of actual progress.

You can't please everyone, and software has to be as retard proof as possible, otherwise there are 50 new posts in the support forum asking the same question that is answered in the "READ ME" file in the .rar. PM'd ya DBF. I need moar clarity on the babies.... lol

There's no retard proof programs. There are people retarded enough to break notepad or calculator. And you can't satisfy everyone, never.

He didn't say there were, just they had to be as retard proof as it can be. That implies there'll be a portion of the program that'll still be screwed up somehow and there's nothing that can be done about it.

Programs will always screw up somehow, we each run different setups. One can account and foresee what he has experienced. One cannot look into the future and be like yo dawg, ma progz gonna work for every1, cause I can see like, when shit hits fan dawg.
 
Oh and for testing.. If u have accs that you aren't afraid to lose, LMK. Tonyx and Alcor have experienced my "tests"

I ain't skeer'd. I lost 16 Rift accounts during the attempt to circumvent Trions Anti-***** team. Paid for each one out of pocket. Sucked. Bigtime lol Proud to say I've never lost a single account in WoW though. Didn't even get hit at the last banwave that "temp-banned" everyone for 90 days ;-) Alpha? Bring it.

Turn grind zone changer off and only check one of the two act boxes in Quest Plugin. Also be sure to have move anywhere but left mouse button as well as a button for a skill under oldroutine.

EDIT: Make sure the folder's named QuestPlugin - Any other way won't work

Why bot don't make all quest in ACT 4 normal? He end on quest THE ETERNAL NIGHTAMRE and go to act2 and kill mob, go to character screen select and go again to act 2??
