More PoE Crashes with Vsync off?

hm, doesnt that increase the hardware usage? to turn vsync on
IF usually Poe run at 100+ fps and you`v got 60hz monitor it would lower usage. If it runs at sub 60FPS it won`t make a difference.

hm, just fooled a bit around with the vsync setting.
with vsync activated i have roughly 12-15% cpu usage and 8% gpu load.
with vsync deactivated im at 7-9% and 5%.
i mean your explanation makes sense, but i dont understand my results then ^^

Might just depend on your OS / Video Card. I run with vsync off on my PC (Win 8.1/GTX 970) and I get maybe 1 client crash a year on average. Do a verify on your GGPK to make sure no files are corrupted too, as corrupted GGPK files tend to cause stability issues in this game. Other that, I typically turn down all my graphic settings and disable chat, since those also affect the client.
I've never had issues with crashing until recently. It might be that since I've moved to an SSD i'm getting instability for some reason. Probably because it's only a 60 gig SSD (I use another regular HD for all of my less intensive programs).
