So im in Australia, i tried to login and for some reason im stuck in Europe region again.

Problem is this time i get:

So i log into my auth, change the key to best latency and it picks south east asia.

South East Asia logs me in then shuts down because of the below:

How can i set my region?
I change it in buddyauth but when i log out and log back in it goes to europe again..
Can you fix this?

Looks like its working again, i didn't do anything to fix it however so i cant advise of the fix.

Can you please change my region to southeast asia

its the best for me and it works!

i get this when i change it myself:

So i just let it sit there for about 20 minutes and it eventually connected.

I am assuming you are having issues with Europe server?

Can you please switch me to south east

Hi, Sp3sh,

We are confused about such a request. YOU are in complete control of the region selection.
First, you can select the region through the BuddyAuth portal when you examine your keys.

Ref: https://buddyauth.com/User/Keys

Second, Honorbuddy allows you to set a region when it throws up the "Enter key" dialog box when it launches. There is a 'region select' combobox right above the field where you enter your key.

All of this is under your control, exclusively.

Apologies for that. We flit among hundreds of posts a day, and sometimes fail to re-establish the full context when revisiting a topic.

For your situation, "BestLatency" sounds like a bad choice. Due to the issues you're having, you should probably always select a 'concrete' region, and it sounds like you've determined that "SoutheastAsia" is the best choice for you.

Once you change a region, you may have to wait a few minutes before using Honorbuddy. It takes a while for the databases to synchronize to the new region, and confirm that the user account information is intact. The connection between EU and SoutheastAsia gets really bogged at times, and the database synchronization can sometimes take 15-30mins to 'catch up'.

Honorbuddy's "region" facilities were meant to greatly increase performance locally. The tradeoff is that 'switching regions' can be a somewhat expensive proposition.

No need for apologies, i just wanted to make sure i was not causing confusion.

It seems around 7am AEST the euro auth tells me i have max connections when i run it yet the SEA one lets me login (then dies in 20 seconds).

I will change it and leave it over night to see.

So 10 hours ago i turned off HB and WOW, in buddy auth i changed it to southeastasia and went to sleep.
This morning i woke up and started it on southeastasia and:

What you are experiencing is not normal. Raphus looked deeper into your problem and reported:

"someone else using his key on EU region"

If you've shared your key(s), you need to have a chat with the other person.

If you haven't shared your key(s), you need to contact the Bossland 'front office' at [email protected], explain the problem to them and link this thread. They should issue you a replacement key.

Is it not strange that its the same time every morning for me?

I did use the key in Europe region but from my Aussie IP. - its me using it on Europe server because i cant connect to any others.

Can you compare IP, mine should show from forum and compare with which is connected to my key.

I honestly dont think this is the problem as how do i connect within 10 minutes?

Can you provide the IP of who is using my key?

But please think about it for one moment.

If EU server says max sessions and i close HB re open and choose SEA and it tells me no session ID how can someone use my key?

Wouldnt SEA also say max sessions?

WOuldnt i see the key in use?

Please see my screenshot, i think you have a bigger problem.

"This is only shown when you have an active session on SEA region and then use your key on EU region.
The key gets bound to EU region, and SEA region will get invalidated since the key is no longer bound to SEA."

It boils down to this...

Pick a 'concrete' region and stay with it.
QUIT changing them, it was not designed to work the way you're trying to use it.
IF you change regions, wait 30mins to use Honorbuddy again.
This is not a Bossland GmbH infrastructure problem, but a consequence of general traffic loading on the EU-SEA backbone.

I AM NOT CHANGING THE REGION FOR FUN, I AM NOT USING THE REGION IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM APART FROM WHEN EUROPE STARTED GIVING ME ISSUES!

If you read my support ticket i have to use it in EU region because no matter what i do i cant get it on SEA.

EU region is where my troubles are as it tells me max sessions for 10 minutes then works.

As i said many times and in my screen shots i always select EU for HB as any other region does not work.

I waited 10 hours the last time i changed it and still it didnt work.

Maybe Raphus needs to get out of his dungeon and read my post with screenshots as clearly it shows NO KEYS IN USE on buddy auth.

The new key i have is automatically in Europe as per screenshot:

I have changed it to SEA, i will wait your 30 minutes then i will try to login to HB.
