Have a good CR?How is it possible to run it from 1-4 without equipping better gear?
Have a good CR?How is it possible to run it from 1-4 without equipping better gear?
100% Of the time problems occur when users start doing quests/things after running the bot. If you let it run from act 1 - 4, I can pretty much tell you there won't be issue. After all, my army came from running QP.
The early exploration complete will be fixed in next update, I'll auto uncheck that.
And Any issues, if you do not provide logs, I'll ignore as there is no viable proof for me to investigate, I will assume it's a error in usage of the bot.
Yup, you have it 100% correct. And I'm glad someone understands. With my limited ablilties this is the current best I can do. Pushedx, tonyx, alcor, exvault are helping me as much as they can, to learn more, so I can get the methodologies, proper structure, and tips on how/what, to code better.I fully support/agree with the /B,I,U portion outlined above. I have tried it both ways historically and have found that no matter how tempting it may be to talk to the quest giver with the "!" over their head to potentially gain a new item or gem or gear, do not do it, let the bot do it when it is ready to. When I leave it alone, it runs flawlessly, if I intervene in ANY way, it usually causes some sort of issue down the road. Just let it do what it wants to do, if you need intervene, stop EB at the place it has the issue, then immediately restart it at that same spot. Works for me.
Edit:
As for gear, you can upgrade out of your bags manually when you find something that is of value, but try to not interfere with the bot's questline as I mentioned above. Use item filters (I use AIF) to prioritize keeping items that are specifically beneficial to your specific toon/build.

I always make sure my work, works for me, before letting someone else use it. And trust me when I tell you, I test and test prior to releasing. Neverless, I am human, and I do make mistakes. I thank those who always point the mistake, and mostly, POSTS FULL logs. Thus, helping me.
There's a reason we don't have a gearswapper plugin because it's so hard to tell what's "good" in poe. If I start a lvl 1 character and tell this plugin to get me to act 4 normal I won't even get close and that's assuming I use the autopassives. At some point I need to stop and equip better gear.
So I'm curious how a CR would handle that task considering how hard it is to know what's good and what's not.
<3, screw tonyx, you can have my babies. You provide us with an invaluable plugin, as do several other Devs on these forums and do not begin to think for a second it is not greatly appreciated. End-users often do not grasp the time and effort it takes to write the code required, debug it (never ending), and finally release it into the wild to find 99 more bugs to deal with. Just do not think your efforts go unnoticed, there are many of us beta-testers, script kiddies, and aspiring coders who are very thankful for what you guys do. Keep up the AWESOME work you do, for free, taking time out of your own lives to make our lives better and gaming more enjoyable. Hell like many I don't even play most of the games I bot, I am more interested in messing around with the software itself optimizing the bot and seeing how well I can get it to mimic actual human behavior. I'm just a sucker for the never ending cat-and-mouse game between the GM's and the botters I guess... ;-)

This will have to use a profile based system.
The profile will weigh items based on what's top priority in gear, more weight, better gear.
The weight is based on what is prioritized as "good for this build". Most meta builds out there have "what you should look for in gear", so that's easy.
Gear is pointless in the end if you do not have CR logic to handle the skills.
For instance, a custom CR for a build would.
Auto kite
Handle each boss's mechanic accordingly
Stay alive.
If those three are achieved, medicore gear can carry you to Merciless.
For instance if you have a CR, you can use Meta builds like the Fire Nova mine with that amulet that gives +2 to carry you to Merciless, without having to worry about other gear pieces. But this is not largely relevant to this argument.
You need a build that can run with limited gear, I do a summon CR as The summons do all the damage, all I have to worry about in my CR is keeping summons full, and kitting to safe distance.
Lastly, the most important factor is knowledge of the game. You can have the best cr, best gear, zero knowledge of the game. End up failing.
You can have 3 years of experience with the game, know meta builds, know what's the fastest leveling locations/skill/tricks, default CR, mediocre gear(Ie starter gear) and still make it to cruel, to merc might take re-gearing.
I'm hope I drove my point so it's easy to follow, explaining is not my forte.
Thanks, I didn't know this bot could kite or do such advance features. Are there just not many developers for this bot?
Just because you didn't know, doesn't mean it's not possible. Thanks, I didn't know this bot could kite or do such advance features. Are there just not many developers for this bot?

"Are there just not many developers for this bot?"
lol. Why don't u trying deving?
The developers i know are :
pushedX - Makes EB possible
toNyx - Advanced Item Filter, Flask Helper, Alerter
Exvault - Map Runner (and i believe was the original author of things like AIF and Alerter, then toNyx took over)
darkbluefirefly - Quest Plugin, Scheduler
Alcor - AutoPassives, Incerator, GemLevelerPro, Idler
buddyfu - Deathlogger, VaalCaster
Infinite Monkeys - Extended Player Mover
tozededao - Totemizer, Typhonis,
I'm sure i have missed some people / plugins. There are a good amount of devs here, but they mostly create / maintain plugins. Very rare to see a dev release combat routines publicly, tho its rumored toNyx may be releasing a new combat routine system that will allow users to create more advanced routines easier. Could also be a giant troll as well ;p
We have plenty of developers. Free time to create many new specific CRs for the 100s of viable builds in PoE.... not so much!
