What bot to get for pure gold farming intentions?

I'm pretty overwhelmed by all different sections in this forum. I am looking for a bot that grants me most gold per hour, what do I have to buy? Honorbuddy or Gatherbuddy?

Gatherbuddy is a part of honorbuddy for gathering/mining etc. You dont need to buy gatherbuddy it is included in honorbuddy. You only need to get a profile here on forums or buy a premium one from buddystore.

Ok, thank you. I saw that there recently was a big banwave in december which hit a lot of Honorbuddy users. Have they sorted out the problem so that the bot is somewhat safe to use again?

caught. Therefore, we strongly suggest you to not bot with accounts that you care about.

Soo, correct me if I'm wrong, but what they basically are saying here is that the banwave could have been because of the Tripwire which they now believe they have fixed? So it should be pretty safe to start botting again?

Yes - that is my view on it. However - botting is alot more dangerous now than it was 2-3 years ago. 2 banwaves so close together.. Blizzard are actively hunting botters atm.

Banwave event has nothing to do with you making gold with bot, it's a spectrum of risk where you going to decide to stand at, your botting behavior will determine you will get banned or not. Go baby steps, enjoy the journey.

Who knows? Some say it is detected, some say it's not. Ask Blizzard, they are the only ones to answer it for true.
Botting is always a risk, keep that in your mind.

Well, did a majority of people who are using Honorbuddy suddenly just got banned? Then the program is probably detected... I just don't understand if Honorbuddy announced that their program is "safe" to use again or if it's very unsafe to use at the moment.

it's never been "safe' there is no way for honorbuddy to know if they are detected, they can only prevent blizzards warden tool from being able to scan and see who is actively using it.

If I can bot for 8 hours a day earning 40k gold per day, selling the gold for 0.20€ / k would be 240€ per month. Worth it.

I was successfully botting a few years ago but I didn't do it very serious and just sold the gold to my IRL friends. It was working great and I never got banned because I only botted for around 6 hours a day since I was doing it on my main account which I would prefer not to get banned.

At that point in time I was mining 6 hours per day, then melting the mined ores into metal bars and sold them on the auction house. I guess things have changed now and therefore I'd like to have some advice on what profile I should be looking for in order to earn most gold per hour. Is it instance farming? Profession farming? Garrison farming?

Sure all of those work well, you need to change it up based on your server economy however, (There isnt a perfect answer here). I have sold pets that are rare or even transmog farming is good on some servers, but mining and herb isnt great for $$ since professions got gutted. Felblight was hot for a while check that out too. I play so casually now I could care less about trying to keep a gold farming account going and since the latest 2 waves I have a feeling its useless anyway, but thats only my oppinion and shouldnt be taken seriously (Do your own investigation).

Pretty basic questions you have here, you really need to search the Buddy store and read thier forums on each profile they are selling to see the feedback on them all.. thats the best method of deciding.
