As the title states it, is there a way to transfer gold to my main account ?
I read some stuff direct trading is a no go same post, but what about auction house i'm not sure.
Seperate bnet account would be safest way, use the AH, don't trade high amounts of gold.
Mounts/pets/epics etc is what I do, not crafting mats or random greens for 20k gold
Can confirm, previous post is safe, have done this on a number of occasions.
The other strategy is have both toons in the same guild, deposit gold into gbank, then withdraw from 2nd bnet account in REASONABLE amounts every day...
Aside from banwaves, using the auction house to "wash" gold was really the only way any of my suicide accounts ever got banned. There's a chance they just got player reported, but I have always been fine just using a guild bank to hold the gold and give to other accounts. The act of washing gold across the auction house just seems silly to me.
the guild bank idea is only safe some times even if you never bot on the account if blizz tracks the gold on a flagged account for botting and sees that it has been dropping the gold into a gb and a toon from another account has been taking it all out they can and will lock the bg and ban the account not for botting but for profiting from the botting activity. the whole AH thing yes it works but you have to be really, really smart about it since blizz monitors that also due to gold farmer use it to get gold to buyers and will pick up on if you are selling a bunch of greens for 10x what they are worth i would stick to battle pets and double or triple the price so as to just make it look like you are dumb and over paying for something but you have to spread it out over a couple of weeks one and two at a time
One thing I don't get what if I trade like 1kk for an archimonde mythic kill (hypothetical) will I get flagged and banned? I see people trading for no item at all only gold on these carries all the time, 200k+ and 50k+ is pretty usual..
I'm seriously wondering, if anyone can shed a light on it...
