I understand it might be a selling point that there is a large community. However I think its a huge mistake to have these forums open for anyone to read. All of this should be Verified Key holders only.

the exposure is worth money. Its good pubiclicity for hb to have ppl post on the blizz forums. Honestly doesn't help having these forums private also

Having images of the Ban Forums posted on random sites isn't good publicity. It says this bot is detectable, stay away.

I think what many people are not understanding is, World of Warcraft is a sinking ship. They are blaming "Botting" for the reason for the decline, instead of the obvious truth is that your game content sucks. The enormous amount of CC in pvp makes it suck. Mandatory daily quests, farm, etc. Sucks. Stagnant raid & dungeon content, sucks. So they tell the investors "subs are down because botters are driving off the legit players." Then they have to show they are doing something...They get tough on botting. This just creates a cycle of death. Banning players not only drives them off, it drivers off there friends. Its one thing to hit gold farmers etc. but people who were just Enyo and combat routines or Garrisonbuddy. Legion is just more of the same, entrenched management at Blizzard who have long outlived being in-touch with the gamer community and what they want from a game.
The bot is a service that makes up for the horrid time requirements of this dying game.

How this ties into my above comment is, they are likely dumping a lot of time and money into stopping botting. Maybe its time to be less open about how we bot etc.

Knowledge is power, guard it well!
